I am reading from Colorado, wearing my new-from-a-thrift-store cozy sweater cause it is a bit chilly at ~6am here today. I'm making coffee, and will be diving into Ragnarok, by A.S. Byatt, for my hour 1 sprint.
Hi everyone!I'm joining the first sprint with an audiobook, Hostage
I've just finished some watermelon to get into a mood!
I'm reading from Malang, Indonesia. I just drink some water so I’d hydrated pretty well throughout the readathon. I'm wearing a cotton pajamas, so comfortable for sleeping in! I will read the Artemis Fowl in my kindle for the sprint.
I'm at my sisters house so I'm on the sofa with a bottle of water and some cereal bars as it's the afternoon where I am
Germany, 2pm. Loungewear, about to hop into the shower, as I‘ve got things to do and my timing sucks. Listening to The 392.
i'm sitting in my home office waiting on a zoom meeting to start (because Navy reserves)...with The Atrocity Archives playing in audiobook format - i have 45minutes of it lefti also have my kindle sitting next to me so i can read when i'm not on the screen - and i'm finishing up Asterion (i'm at 63% of that)
I'm in Oregon, joining the first sprint with Idylls of the King on my Kobo. I'm wearing pajamas and reading in bed
I can't find the sprints? Are they just being hosted by whoever the hourly moderator is? I'm starting off with
and page 1.
I'm reading in Maroochydore on the Sunshine Coast in Australia. I'm drinking a coffee and wearing my pjs because readathon starts at 10pm for me.I am reading Shōgun for this first sprint
I have my yogurt and blackberries for breakfast and cup of coffee ready to go. I plan to start a new book for the first hour - Truths I Never Told You by Kelly Rimmer. This is a new author for me.
Hi Everyone! I'm tuning in from Houston, Texas today. I will be wearing a new bookish shirt that I got for my birthday (as soon as I feel like getting out of my pjs lol). My first book of the day is going to be: Revolting Rhymes
Where are you reading from?Europe, Romania. In the city Galati.
What are you eating/drinking?
At the moment I just want to drink more coffee and eat a croissant with ham and cheese and a cookie.
What are you wearing?
A pink sweather and my black jeans because I'm not home at the moment.
We traditionally start off every Dewey's readathon with an hour-long sprint. Are you ready?
I'll most probably get only 30 minutes of reading but it's still better than nothing.
What are you reading to kick off this readathon?
Dune, the Graphic novel, book 1 by Frank Herbert.
Reading from San Francisco, California. It’s 5am and I’m still in pajamas. Celebrated actually waking up on time this year with a ZeroChoc square. Way too early for breakfast, still. Will be finishing The Lincoln Highway as my first read.
This sprint was good for me, managed to spend almost the whole hour listening to an audiobook. Not very fond of the narrator, though, especially when she narrates men's POV
I did the hour 1 sprint before getting out of bed. Read 37 pages so far of The Deception (Animorphs #46).
I am reading from North Carolina. I am about to eat breakfast and I'll be drinking orange juice. I am wearing a t-shirt and shorts. I just finished the reading sprint and read thirty pages. I have started with reading Serafina and the Twisted Staff.
I'm in the UK. I've just did the first sprint and read 45 pages of The Empire which is turning into a 5 star read.
Managed to read 38 pages. Some audio and some paper. I am always a bit distracted in the beginning of the readathon but it will be better later in.:)
I am reading from ATL. Starting with ‘The Weight of Blood’ by Tiffany D. Jackson. Only drinking coffee so far!
I am reading in my recliner next to the window in my pjs for now. Enjoying my iced coffee and a donut (readathon treat) and cuddling with our dog. I like to start with something light when I first wake up, so the book is The Challenge by Danielle Steel.
I ended the sprint on chapter 3 (Day 3) of Unhackable Soul: Rise Up, Feel Alive, and Live Well with Pain and Illness
What hours are sprints in?
I'm reading THE PRESIDENT IS MIISSING . Too early to tell if I like it or not . Will let you know in the next sprint .

Are you joini..."6am here in northern Utah when readathon started. We've got a major wind storm going outside so I'm hunkered down in my pjs.

I'm a bit behind! I'm on a reading break so decided to update everything. I'm from Texas, my goal today is 12 books, I'm wearing comfy spooky clothes- Hocus Pocus sweatpants, a spooky tie dyed shirt that I dyed myself, and my binx socks! So far for food I've had sausage biscuit balls and scarecrow mix! My husband just ran to the store to get stuff to make subs. I've had a coffee, lots of water, and one redbull so far, caffeine is how I'll make it!If anyone wants to follow my blog (Essentiallyash.blogspot.com) my instagram (Instagram.com/ashlikesbooks) or my tiktok (tiktok.com/@essentially.ash) I'll be posting updates there through out the day.
