You claimed Babies, Rattles and Cribs... Oh, My! - while there is a paper edition, it does not have page numbers for page length verification purposes. You'll need to ask a librarian to add the page number.

Not a good omen. Sheesh. Sorry Sandy I thought those were quotation marks in the task. Guess not.

Don't feel bad, Sheila - when I started looking at my books to find one for the task, the first one I picked out had quotation marks!

On the readerboard I'm currently listed as having 25 points, I should only have 5 so far (post #40 claiming task 5.1) :P

I'll check it out. I always find that my spreadsheet/my brain does some strange things when I start up a season on readerboard.
ETA: Ah, you two are one right after the other on the spreadsheet - so let's just say the spreadsheet jumped and things were on the wrong line...........blame it on technology, right? It's fixed now - thanks for checking right away and pointing it out!

Just an FYI - the rating for the task is the numerical rating - ("at or above 3.5"), not the number of stars. In this case, you're okay because the rating is 3.89 as of right now.
No need to repost.

That's because the readerboard has not been updated again. Your points will show up in the next update.

It appears that the edition of Happy Valley that you read does not have a subtitle listed on GR. A subtitle shows as part of the title, following a colon. While it appears that someone has added the cover text to the kindle edition as a subtitle, none of the other editions show a subtitle, including the one that you appear to have read.

You posted Discovery Travel Adventure Dinosaur Digs for task 20.1. The GR entry has no page numbers on it, so it cannot be verified for length. You'll need to ask a librarian to add the page numbers in order to use this book.
For task 20.3, you posted The Lightning Thief, which has "children" as a main page genre.

Since your readerboard name is Shiraloo, you must post that at the beginning of all completed task posts. If you are just relying on the name in the gray bar next to the post number, it must match EXACTLY, so that the moderators don't have to figure it out every time.
Please repost, with your readerboard name included at the top of your post.

ahhh phooey, westerfeld is not. But! I have a Plan B, if you'll give me a little time to get it read! I can do the repost by morning.

As stated in the FAQ > Goodreads Author and Big Book Tickets:
You must specifically mention in your completed task post that a book was written by a Goodreads author. Updating a tally or providing a list of author's names at the top or bottom of your post is NOT enough.
To get credit for the GRAs in this post, you need to repost (post another message in the Completed Task thread) explicitly stating that the post is to claim GRA tickets ONLY, no new points, at the TOP of your post. You also need to include the number of the post in which the book was claimed for points, the task number the book was read for, and a link to the book as shown in the sample repost section of the FAQ > Goodreads Author and Big Book Tickets.

Not a problem - The Clue is a super-fast read, & I read it on my computer's Kindle app which gives it really big type. :D (BTW, the kindle edition says 196 pages, but the page numbers on the actual book scans say 224. Works either way, but still.)
Anyway, it's now reposted with the new book replacing Westerfeld and the right info added.

Sorry Sandy, reposted now.
It bodes poorly that I'm already on the wall of shame with my first ever post :-) Do we get kicked out if we are here more than a certain number of times, haha?

I should have 40 points in the readerboard (post 21 / 20 points and post 59 / 20 points), but the readerboard only shows 20 points.

Hey, at least that's an easy fix as that time they WERE both new to me - just a lil typing!
aaaaand reposted. :D

Persephone appears to only exist on GR in ebook form.
If your book is an ebook with no print version, you must have it approved for length before posting in the ebook page verification thread: Ebook page verification in General Help.
Your post must include the line number of the approval in the ebook spreadsheet or a link to the post in which the ebook was approved for length.
If you've already had this approved, please repost with the required information.

Please put the required information for a task posting in the post itself, without hiding it with a "spoiler" tag. You don't have to (and shouldn't) list the entire task in your task post, but the main post should include the option you chose. No need to repost, just please do this in the future. thanks.
