Also, A Wild and Precious Life by Edie Windsor fits this prompt. It is about her life story and ultimately her lawsuit that brought about marriage equality in the US.

The Master and Margarita by Mikhail Bulgakov
2666 by Roberto Bolaño
The Trial by Franz Kafka

I think you might be trying to post a picture, but it doesn’t show up (at least on my phone).🤷♀️ Just thought I would let you know.

Read this in one day as it is a very easy read and I very much enjoyed it!! A must read if you haven't!!

I read On the Way Home: The Diary of a Trip from South Dakota to Mansfield, Missouri, in 1894 by Laura Ingalls Wilder, 4 Stars. Laura passed away in 1957 and the book was published in 1962

And: Atlas: The Story of Pa Salt by Lucinda Riley and her son Harry Whittaker will come out in May. She passed away. Her son now co-writes this book to finish it. This book could also count for "#1. A Book With A Subtitle" or "#39. Final Book In A Series" or "#52. Published In 2023"

I had to quit reading this book. At the rate I was going, it would have taken me until February of next year to finish it. Instead, I picked up Every Man Dies Alone by Hans Fallada, and discovered it will fit this prompt.

I'll Be Gone in the Dark: One Woman's Obsessive Search for the Golden State Killer by Michelle McNamara 5 stars

What does published posthumously mean? This means that the book was published after the author died. It may have been published a few days after the author’s death, or several decades later. This might be a full length book or part of a short story collection, a play, a work of poetry, etc. It might also be an unfinished work.
As a creative interpretation, you might choose an author who had a book published posthumously but decide to read one of their earlier works published while they were still alive.
