Yay. i have a reason to read the latest book in Hidden Legacy. This book is a couple of pages above the average number of pages we each need to read. So, I'll plan on reading this one, but I have one more Ilona Andrews book on my MnG shelf I can read if we need it.

I’m going to start with
. It has 276 pages. I can read a second book after that.
I've started
(340 pages) and I'm planning on continuing the series with
(492 pages). Since the 2nd book is so long though, if we can get to the 1500 pages without that one I won't be upset! 😁
Are we allowed to read anthologies for this challenge? I was thinking about doing
. It’s over the 150 minimum, but I wanted to make sure. They’re all Andrews, no other author.

Karen i know your second book is long. if you don't want to read it, i can read the other book on my MnG shelf. The Kindle version is 315 pages.

I'm starting with
(432 pages) since it works for the new PtP task too.And, since I just checked and found that everything I have left on my M&G shelf qualifies for this task, I'll definitely be reading a 2nd book, whether we need it or not! 😁The shortest one I have is 290 pages, so feel free to take that into account when deciding on what you want to read.
1500 - 432 - 290 = 778 pages remaining

It is MPG Family on the old page, but it's the bottom one and they sometimes disappear so it's probably a good thing to have the link just in case!

With the challenge ending on Thursday, November 10th, there will a minor change to the last task. Beginning on Tuesday, November 8th, when teams post their completions and get a new task, they will all get the same task. For this task, instead of just completing it, you will continue reading to add to the total number of books read for your team. There will be no passes for the last task and to complete it, every team member must complete a book for the task and contribute to the overall book count. So, the task is considered ‘completed’ when every team member has read one book for the task, but you can continue reading in order to increase your overall book count for the task in case that is needed for a tie breaker. In the event that two or more teams are tied based on the number of tasks completed, the team with the highest book count will win The Amazing Race Team Challenge!
**Remember if your completion posts are incomplete or have the wrong page count, your books will not count. So help each other out by checking the posts!**
Posting that your team has completed the last task in the Q&A thread is not necessary as I will be checking all the team threads when the challenge ends.
‼️ If your page count comes from a Kindle edition published on the initial publication date on the editions page, it will count. If your page count comes from a Kindle edition labeled '1st edition', it will count. If your page count comes from the earliest dated English language Kindle edition, it will count. I am looking for one of those three things when confirming your books! As long the page count you list is correct, I will accept any link to the book. ‼️
Sorry, I somehow missed Kat's message when she posted it last night. As far as we're concerned, it really doesn't make a difference. We're pretty much locked into our position in the standings, and reading a bunch of extra books won't make any difference, so if everyone just reads one book to complete the task, that's all that we need. Double-checking each other's posts would be a very good thing though...I'd hate for us to get this far and then end up not finishing the last task because of a copy/paste error in a completion post! 😃

Chan, will you please update your qualifications to indicate MPG romance also? Kat specified in the task that both elements need to be there, so should also be in the qualification. Thanks!
The problem with this one is that the author is mostly trying to set up the rest of the series. So there's so much extra going on, but nothing is actually developed at all. Like a bunch of prologues mashed together. There are 12 siblings, so she's trying to set up 11 other books while also trying to shove a story in this one, and it's only 160 pages. Totally not working.
