Book 1

Earth Husbands are Odd by Lyn Gala
193 Pages
How it qualifies:rating 4.32
Date Read: 10/24/2022
Review: It was wonderful revisiting this little family! Rick and Max are both kind of swoony romantic with each other, which you would definitely not expect from the premise of the book. Plus the 2 kids are absolutely adorable! The plot sometimes lost me, but I think there was plenty of set up for more to come!
Book 2

Red Dirt Heart by N.R. Walker
196 Pages
How it qualifies: 4.20 Rating
Date Read: 10/24/2022
Rating: 3.5 Stars
Review: I didn’t like this one as much as most people seem to. It was good, but I think for me westerns need to have a little something extra to hold my attention (like Nowhere Ranch), rather than just general angst about coming out as a cowboy. If I continue the series, I definitely won’t do audio
Book 3

Unguarded by Jay Hogan
306 Pages
How it qualifies: 4.17 Rating
Date Read: 10/24/2022
Rating: 4.5 Stars
Review: Usually when I write a Hogan review I gush about the descriptions of the beautiful New Zealand setting, but Hogan wrote something completely different here so I'm going to do something different as well and just gush about the characters. Because Hogan completely rocked the characters with this one! The plot was good, although mostly it was nothing much going on, but that was completely okay! These characters were so well developed, so interesting, so fun that I would probably read an entire second book where they're just happily settled and nothing happens. I adored both sassy, out and proud, snarky Tai and quiet, blushing, lovely Emmett. They do have their issues to work through, but it was beautiful watching them work through it together. These two move quickly into more, but it was organic and worked for them. It was just a lovely book that definitely kept a smile on my face
Book 4

His Last Christmas in London by Con Riley
180 Pages
How it qualifies: Rated 5.00 stars (new book so took screenshot if needed)
Rating: 5 Stars
Review: Absolutely swooning over this lovely Christmas novella. The way Con writes is always breathtaking, and here it's condensed down into a truly wonderful shorter story that gave me all the feelings I expect and want when I'm picking up a Christmas read. It has that sense of wonder and magic and just left my heart ever so happy. Guy and Ian were so fun, worked well together, and putting down their story was very nearly impossible. This does have some connections to other stories, which took me a while to pick up on, but when I did my smile grew impossibly wider (and I won't spoil that because I think it's really fun when you pick up on it naturally). It's warm, sweet, and just everything I wanted it to be.

I need to read black snow by wed for plague v cure and my libray book club choice by thursday and neither are higher than 4 stars 😡

Other Birds by Sarah Addison Allen

In the Weeds by B.K. Borison
410 pages
How it Fits: 875 reviews
Read: 26 Oct
Rating: 4 stars
Review:
I liked Evelyn and Beckett so much in Lovelight Farms, and I'm glad their story was up next in B.K. Borison's Lovelight series.
These two had great chemistry the whole way through. Since their attraction was physical from the get-go, it was nice how B.K. Borison spent the time having them establish a real friendship. Beckett was just so darn sweet!

Yes, Caipi, we're thinking of you!
Please take care at home, don't give us a second thought.

So, if one of you wants to give your pass option to Caipi - that is fine with me. 😊

So, if one of you wants ..."
Thank you

Book 1

Of Paper and Wood by Amy Bellows
194 Pages
How it qualifies: Moon on cover (see above)
Date Read: 10/30/2022
Rating: 4 Stars
Review: As always, Amy provided a sweet and heartwarming story that was incredibly enjoyable. For a fairly short story, the world building was top notch and I fell in love with the characters
Book 2

Harvest Moon by Sam Burns
345 Pages
How it qualifies: Moon on cover (see above)
Date Read: 11/1/2022
Rating: 5 Stars
Review: Oh I think I loved this book even more than the first one, it was almost impossible to put down even for important things like eating; I just wanted to keep reading! Alexis and Ridge were just so sweet and lovely, and yes completely oblivious and dumb at times, but it just made me want them to figure it out more. And through this budding relationship Sam and Waverly do what they do best, create a completely intriguing world that you just can't help but get swept in. I'm loving learning about everything that's happening and how they're going to deal with the repercussions. A great romance and an interesting plot? You really couldn't ask for more!
