I think shortening it just means deleting the ref stuff so at the end of it it says ref= and then a bunch of letters and numbers. Just delete all of that stuff.

As Noor mentioned, to shorten the Amazon URL link delete the word ref and everything that follows it. To ensure you've got it right, hit enter to refresh the page with the shortened link, and you should still have the same review.

I have been given to understand that the stuff we delete includes data it's best not to share, and it's good practice for your social media as well as making it look better. This works on all URLs, so always look for that 'ref'.
