I'm good with any book. Hopefully I'll be able to find any books anyone wants to BR. I have no preferences to genre, everything is free game.

D.L. wrote: "Is anyone interested in doing a buddy read of Grave Sight by Charlaine Harris OR 1st to Die by James Patterson ?"I have 1st To Die in my collection I think. I don't recognize the other. I'll look for it as well and get back to you.
D.L. wrote: "Is anyone interested in doing a buddy read of Grave Sight by Charlaine Harris OR 1st to Die by James Patterson ?"I've got both books.
Clare wrote: "Does anyone want to read divine rivals by rebecca ross?"I can. Been planning to read it this weekend or next week.
Erica wrote: "Anyone up for reading
or
in January?"@Erica, I've already read Fairy Tale and the other doesn't interest me, but if you have other books in future months, keep posting your request - I could be interested, but probably not for less than 300 page books (extra points for one of the challenges😉). Happy New Year.
Clare wrote: "Does anyone want to read fourth wing with me?"I would but I'm on the hold list at the library.🙁 Not sure how long the wait will be, may be a few weeks. Can you wait or are you ready to read it now?

Truitt - I'd like to read Angels & Demons - I read it years ago but want to start that series again. The first 2 nonfiction books look interesting - I'll do one of them in February if you want. I read the other 2 NF on your list already.
Several of the other "Everything else" look good too but don't want to overcommit.😂🤣
Hey Shan ~A~ and Truitt T - I am also interested in reading The 7 1/2 Deaths of Evelyn Hardcastle if you're open to a third wheel joining... but no worries if not.

Angels & Demons would be great! Can you believe I've never read it or The Da Vinci Code? Do youhave a particular time this month you'd like to read it?
Shan - I'm waiting for The 7 1/2 Deaths of Evelyn Hardcastle from the library. It's already in transit from elsewhere in the state (oddly enough, there were no local copies), but sometimes it can take a week or more to get here. I'll let you know as soon as it arrives.
I'll request threads for both books. Thanks for joining me!
Erica wrote: "Hey Shan ~A~ and Truitt T - I am also interested in reading The 7 1/2 Deaths of Evelyn Hardcastle if you're open to a third wheel joining... but no worries if not."Sorry - I missed your post while I was typing mine! Please join us - the more the merrier.
What your timeframe, Erica?
Truitt, I'm on the hold list for the audiobook of The Secret Lives of Country Gentlemen. I should get it anytime in the next 2 weeks if you and Sammy don't mind a third buddy.
Truitt, also I have both Foxed and The Art of Husbandry in my TBR and can read them whenever you're ready. Although, my Tarot Card challenge should be over in about 10 days and this will free me up even more.

I just finished a long book today so can start anytime, really. I tried it once last year and got lost in the first pages so hopefully having compatriots to read with will help!
Bernadette wrote: "Truitt, I've just requested Angels & Demons from the library - should have it soon."Let me know when your copy arrives - here's our thread.
Christina T wrote: "Truitt, I'm on the hold list for the audiobook of The Secret Lives of Country Gentlemen. Here's our thread.
Also, I'd love to read wither (or both of the Jay Hogan books with you. Do you have a preference off which to start with? I can start one in the next few days, or we can wait a bit - just let me know.
Truitt_T wrote: "Christina T wrote: "Truitt, I'm on the hold list for the audiobook of The Secret Lives of Country Gentlemen. That one has been on my radar and I meant to get to it last year but just didn't.

And I don't really care which of the Jay Hogan books we read, so Foxed is fine by me, and since Christina gave it as an option, I suspect that'll work for her, too.
I should finish my current book tomorrow, so I could potentially pretty quickly. I'll work with whatever is best for you and Christina.
I could start Foxed in the next couple of days then play it by ear for the other Jay Hogan book. If that sounds good.
Christina T wrote: "I could start Foxed in the next couple of days then play it by ear for the other Jay Hogan book. If that sounds good."Perfect! I'll request a thread for Foxed.
ETA: The thread for Foxed is here.
Angie ☯ wrote: "Truitt - if you plan to read In Cold Blood in January, I'd be open for a BR."Excellent! I sent you a message. :)
I think I'm behind everyone on reading Fourth Wing

Is anyone interested in buddy reading If only I had told her by Laura Nowlin with me? I just got the book and I know I’ll be dying to talk to someone about it while I read it
Lexi wrote: "Is anyone interested in buddy reading If only I had told her by Laura Nowlin with me? I just got the book and I know I’ll be dying to talk to someone about it while I read it"Lexi, sounds like a good book but my library doesn't have it yet.☹️

Winter's Orbit by Everina Maxwell
Maurice by E.M. Forster

Danielle Gypsy Soul wrote: "I want to listen to We Could Be So Good if you want to do a buddy read for that one."I have such a long wait to get this from the library 😩 About 6 weeks but if people pass their spot it could pop early. I've been on the hold list since the beginning of November.
Danielle Gypsy Soul wrote: "I want to listen to We Could Be So Good if you want to do a buddy read for that one."I'd love to! Can you start soon? As Christina mentions, there a many people holding for this book, and now that I've got my hands on it I feel the need to read it ASAP.
Christina - Danielle and I could use spoilers and perhaps you could read when you get your copy? I promise I'll come back and talk about it with you.

That would be perfect. It's hard to predict when I'll get it as it's currently saying 6 weeks but there's the option of passing to the next in line without losing your place. So technically I could get it any time in the next month and a half. I'll make sure to come and put my opinions in when I get it!

Excellent! I'll go request a thread.
