Jimmy | 2 comments I read this book around 2 years ago and I really enjoyed it. I remember a TON of details about the book but I can't find the title or anything about the book which really frustrates me. First, I remember that the cover had spirals on it and I'm pretty sure the word "time" was in the book title. Also, the book is the first in a series and the reason I am trying to find this book is because I want to read the second book in the series. Now, I remember a lot of bits and pieces of the plot. There was a group of around 10 scientists that found a cure that stops aging but they are the only people who have it along with 1 other guy who is an investor or something like that. I remember that one of the scientists was named Lisa and the investor guy buys a log cabin mansion. The scientists were rich and they didn't age so they did different things for fun. The protagonist is this guy who is an ex-swat or CIA along with this girl whose live he saved. There is this hitman who tries to kill them and I remember that somewhere in the book the girl pours hot oil on the hitman's face when she is pretending to cook omelets for him. Also, the scientists are slowly dying and this is kind of a spoiler but they died in boy, girl, boy, girl order. If you want I can give more information on the plot but then I would be spoiling the book. I know all this information is very random but it would mean the world to me if you knew what book I am talking about and could tell me the title. :)

That was my thought too, although it is a very British book and was originally published in 1960.
