SOLVED. Middle Grade Fantasy. Looking for a book on these kids finding a magical book. [s]

There was 3 kids who find a book in a basement. And the book has magic powers. I think the book sends them in time and the young boy has control of the first book and they have to find 3 books.
I don't know the exact year i read this book but know i read it in school, 2010-2019

Not inkheart was no adult helping them. I think they were siblings. I read it in middle school. It was a series. No idea what country it's from. I just remember it had that Narnia aspect where they left there family and went to some old man house.

You said an adult was helping them. Grandparent type? Parent? Teacher?
One child was a boy, what about the other two?
Any details you can remember about the cover (color, images, etc.)?
You said you read it in school, what is an assignment? Or for fun?

The wishing spell is a great book. Chris Colfer is a great author. Don't know if it's that book. Pretty sure there were three kids and a magic book for each kid. The first book The little boy was the target for the book. I think there were 2 girls and one boy and they were all young like in the early teens. THERE WAS NO ADULT HELPING THEM. don't remember the cover sadly. Was for fun. What should I add to the header.
