Welcome to our June challenge!

Rules:
✒︎ You may choose how many tasks you’d like to complete from 1 to all 7.
✒︎ Each task can only be completed once and each book can only be used for 1 task.
✒︎ Books must be at least 150 pages long, unless otherwise noted.
✒︎ Any book format may be used: physical, electronic, audio.
✒︎ For audio pages just use the first edition of the book that pops up when you do a search for the book.
✒︎ Books can be fiction or nonfiction, unless otherwise specified. If reading nonfiction for a main character task, the main person that the book is about should fit the task.
✒︎ All books must be finished within the challenge month.

~ Read a book with nature as a theme. (outdoor setting, MC is an environmentalist, nonfiction, etc)

Nike | 65 comments I've googled but POC seams to mean many, many different things and the meaning witch seams the most plausible still bewilders me "Person of Concern".

I can't find any list of books with a smile on the cover so I would be happy if someone could help me out with that =)

Unfortunately I can't find the copy I've read on Goodreads so I can't prove it. Well, I can continue searching for it since there are hundreds of editions. But the cover shows the young woman who is the main character with a hat and a pair of sunglasses.

Aha, ok - thank you so much. English is not my language, I'm Swedish so even though I'm quite fluent in English I don't know all of your ... what's it called - abbreviations perhaps? I appreciate your help <3

Sorry, Nike! Yes, Person of Color.

Juneteenth is the US holiday that celebrates the end of slavery / emancipation of African-Americans. I was going to state African-American, but wanted the task to be open to authors and characters that weren't necessarily American.

Karin Right now I don't know how many, but am going to start with 1 because for sure I'm reading a book that has Red in the title. Also, I'm reading a novel by Barbara Kingsolver and she usually has environment/nature, etc stuff due to her background.
