My mom read this back in the 80s so this is an older book. She can’t remember the title at all, but that she got the book from her school when she was young so it’s possibly meant for younger audience or just young adult. The main character wakes up in the past and becomes part of a family who recognizes her as a family member, only she knows she doesn’t belong there and doesn’t know how she got there. Eventually the brother in this family figures it out, and she starts to fall in love with him. That’s all my mom can remember about it, and that it possibly takes place around when America was founded. Any help greatly appreciated!! Been searching all over for this book and can’t find anything that sounds right.

Nope she says it’s not that one, and that the storyline focuses on less history than that one does.

Does your mom remember if it was primarily a romance?There was a time travel romance series called Swept Away, but I don't believe any of them were specifically set during that era. Gone with the Wish is set just before the Civil War.
Not that series, but yes she thinks it was mainly a romance focusing on how the brother figures out she isn’t actually his sister and the two of them work together to figure out what happened.
Nope not that, the character wasn’t pregnant.
