Five Feet Apartmaybe a bonus read?
this is how it was for me before having my transplant 12.13.18..
• everyone who knew my case called me a miracle because of the chances that i had of survival — very close to 0, but they witnessed a comback that was, in humble reality, a miracle.
• i had to work really hard because of complications both pre and post transplant.. including learning to walk again among other ‘basics’ many take for granted!
i would love to see what people think, if they do read it. 💜 (purple is the cystic fibrosis ribbon color/representative color)

my biggest and best gift was the donor family’s choice to save my life by donating their loved one’s parts. i was just one of many her passing saved. 🙏🏻😢🫁🦸🏼♀️
forgot to mention that it is also a movie in case you’d rather see?the woman who worked very closely with producers was named ‘claire’ and she has since passed on from her cystic fibrosis end stages, but her life goes on through all of the hard work she did while still here.
‘claire wineland’ was her name. gone too soon. like too many with my condition.
‘we won’t stop until cf stands for cure found’ is the motto!
