The Spring 2022 Challenge Begins!

Spring has sprung! Here comes the sun! Welcome to the Spring 2022 Challenge!

Welcome back returning players! Thank you for making this group so much fun. If you are just joining us as a new player, we are glad you are here.

The Spring 2022 bonus theme is: The Wizard of Oz- Scarecrow
There are 54 tasks.
The Challenge point goal is 895.

10 x 5 points = 50
10 x 10 points = 100
10 x 15 points = 150
10 x 20 points = 200
9 x 25 points = 225
4 x 30 points = 120
1 x 50 points = 50

Many of the tasks have already been posted. The remaining tasks will be posted as they are available. The aim is to have all tasks, excepting 50.1, posted by March 7. All tasks are draft until March 12 or 5 days after the last task is posted. Please carefully review the task descriptions after the task become final as task requirements may have changed during the review period. Task 50.1 will be posted after the season midpoint April 15.

We strongly recommend that you review The Rules of the Challenge, Posting Requirements and Default Rules and FAQs.

We have replaced reward task 20.6 - Seasoned Reader with 20.6 - It's A Fact. Thanks to Cat for the suggestion. Players interested in being included in a random ticket drawing to create the task can request a ticket for each nonfiction book read. See Rewards of the Challenge and Posting Requirements in the Rules folder.

We will continue the 50 point task contest. The submission thread will open March 15.

The Spring 2022 Challenge folder holds: Challenge Tasks, Completed Tasks, the Readerboard, Questions/Problems, the current Challenge Rules, the season's Group Reads discussion threads, Task Ideas, the Calendar and submission threads for the season's contests.
The topics can be sorted by clicking on the topics heading.

We will select the next year of Group Reads categories. The submission thread will open on March 15. Submissions will be randomized for 2 fiction and 1 nonfiction categories.

The Spring 2022 Challenge will end on May 31, 2022 at midnight Eastern time.
