Unfortunately, I know of no contemporary enemies to lovers (just cause I don't read fiction, but more fantasy now days). If I find something I will let you know :)
Okay, so having a bit trouble of finding a few good books. Also I would prefer it to be YA fantasy. (series or not, just not too much of a huge fan of fiction in general rn)
Also, I know a lot of these are weird choices so bear with me right now. And sorry in advance for the strict guidelines!
1. I find it interesting (it has to be done well though!), if for example:
Character A loves Character B. Character B loves Character C. Character C loves someone else or just wants to be left alone. THEN after a random event, Character A and Character B get together (after a lot of slow burn) (YA fantasy)
2. Also, huge fan of GOOD Character Arc Redemptions. (So many books do it bad, but am looking for a good one) Especially if the MC's/Love Interest themselves are just terrible in the beginning, but reform and become better after a lot of adventure/exploring
3. I love heists/huge adventures. Yes, I have read Six of Crows and the sequel (yet surprisingly thought it was okay....)
4. I ABSOLUTELY LOVED the book "Crest" of the Lunar Chronicles. Would really love something like that. Also another book series that is similar to Caraval/Legendary (I really loved the 2nd book though of the series)
5. A GOOD enemies to lovers (that is YA fantasy). I don't really want opposing neighbor countries or something, yet more like opposing status (like Defy the Night)
Okay so Ik this is super late and tbh you’ve probably already read this but I would recommend These Violent Delights by Chloe Gong. It’s basically 1920’s gangbanger retelling of Romeo and Juliet. It’s a duology (I’m reading the second book rn) and it has slow burn enemies to lovers. They actually started off as lovers, then went to enemies-sort of lovers-enemies- and right now idk what they are. It has fantasy-esque elements.

Ok, so for #2 The Kiss of Deception series has one of the best character arcs ive ever read, and also These Violent Delights
I LOVE CRESS AND LEGENDARY TOO!! I just started Heartless, which gives me similar vibes and love it so far
And for #5 on of my favorite enemies to lovers in fantasy is the Dance of Thieves series
Hope these help! :)
