How it fits: This book is set in Amsterdam (the Netherlands). All books in the De Cock series take place in Amsterdam, where the detective De Cock works. It isn't mentioned in the book's MP information, but it is mentioned on the page for the entire series, here. "The series about the Amsterdam homicide detective DeKok and his inseparable side-kick Vledder."
I went looking for some more exact proof of location and found a blurb on the Kobo website, which mentions the 'Keizersgracht', where their first 'clue' takes place.
"Uit een pand aan de Keizersgracht is een kostbare verzameling van oude zilveren gebruiksvoorwerpen verdwenen." Translation: "From a building on the Keizersgracht a costly collection of old silver items has disappeared."
The Keizersgracht is a street in Amsterdam.

How it fits: This book is located in South Africa and for a small part in Zimbabwe. The MPG says 'South Africa'. The info text mentions the setting; Chizarira (Zimbabwe), De Kaap and Limpopo (South Africa).
