Grace took Connor's hand, absorbing his power. She used tye telekinesis to jam the bullet and lower Nathan's arm. He was obviously having trouble whether not to shoot him or not.

He glanced at Connor. "What are you doing?!" he tried to shoot.

[Justin]

"It's...not..me.." Connor said.

"It's me..." Grace said. "Your decision to kill JJ will only hurt you more. Why? If you kill JJ, he'll kill your older sister and little brother. Do you really want that? Living a life, knowing your decision cost the life of two siblings?" She asked. Grace also loosened the vine a little. JJ had a good grip on his vine.

JJ laughed. "Listen to her, Nathan."

"He can't kill them if he's dead!!"

[Elizabeth]

Ian listened to a bit of the conversation before coming over. this must be the guy he'd heard so much about. and since they seemed to think killing him was a bad idea he didn't try. he did read JJs mind though as he went to try and cut she boy free from the vines

JJ was struggling against the telekinesis holding him in the air, working on a way out of this.

Nathan tossed the useless gun aside and drew a knife, steeling himself.

Ian was trying to read everyone's minds there while still trying to cut the vines.

Connor took a breathe of air, laying on the grass releasing JJ.

Grace also released Nathan.

Nathan threw a knife at JJ who dodged.

reading so many minds at once was giving him a headache so he focuses just on JJ as he pulled out his one knives.

JJ saw Ian. I need to get out of here.

[Elizabeth]

((I don't think he's ever met Ian? and I don't think Stephanie told him a name, just said mind reader. idk though))

Hearing his thoughts Ian threw one of the knives at his legs.

JJ let out a vicious curse as he fell. Nathan glanced at Ian and nodded, approaching JJ with his knife.

Ian just nodded, staying focused on reading JJs mind

I will not let this boy kill me. Not today. JJ forced himself to move away, and a thick growth began to form under him. Hr began to be lifted off the ground by the tree.

Nathan teleported up there with him, and his knife was at JJ's throat. "You should never have messed with my family." This would be the killing stroke...

Alberon, along with Emma, followed Katava here.

JJ stared up at him. He can't bring himself to do it. And in that split second, he shoved the knife away from his throat and rolled out of the tree, which had stopped growing and wasn't very high anyway, and at the same time sliced open Nathan's ankle. Once he landed with a grunt he started limping away as fast as he could. All this happened in the space of about four seconds.

Katava ran up to where Nathan was. "STOP!!"

Nathan had teleported after JJ, but froze when he heard Katava's voice.

JJ kept going.

Connor looked up, favoring his neck.

Now that she was there, she didn't know what to do.

Grace used the telekinesis to break her handcuffs and went up too. She needed JJ alive to take over

Ian started after JJ.

Emma gave Alberon a look as if to say, Go for it if you think you have a good shot..

Nathan turned to face Katava, suddenly ashamed. He lowered the bloody knife.

Alberon moved to block JJ, slamming the hilt of his knife on his head just as vines began to creep up around his ankles.

JJ crumpled.

That was easy.

She walked over to Nate.

Tyler stared at JJ. "Are you going to kill him?"

Nathan looked away.

Alberon shrugged. "He might die anyway, from blood loss." JJ was shot and stabbed in the chest as well as in the leg.
