Review:
If I haven’t already posted this previously, I need to say that Harry Dresden, the MC of this series, is the only professional wizard in Chicago. Being the only wizard that can be counted on keeps him busy all right.
I have to say that this is one of my favorite books in this series. The twists and turns were too good and Harry just keeps getting into the craziest situations. One of my favorite aspects about this series is the different emotional pleasures I get from reading it: humor that causes me to laugh aloud, the fun relationships among the characters that has so many ups and downs, the world of magic that has helped me develop more of my imagination, which is not something I’m that good at…thus my previous lack of interest in the fantasy genre. But this series has changed that for me. However, I wasn’t crazy about the demonic flying monkeys!

Nice! you are caught up and ahead of me :D
I love that series and am only up to book 5. I'm glad it's a long series, I enjoy that crazy Harry!

That series is so long! 20+hrs each book. I have the first one, but not sure when I’ll have the time to listen. I hate trying to rush through long books.

This is such a great series! #3 and they just keep getting better. Helen Grace is on the hunt again for a potential serial killer. With many twists and turns we find out who the killer is.
New characters are joining the force as well as some resigning (yay!). This group is becoming so familiar to me, I look forward to #4, as I have 10 books in total in this series , with a new one expected this year.
If you enjoy crime thrillers , this is the series for you!

Review: Wow. Just, wow. I didn't see that ending coming. I had Agent Daybreak figured out, but (view spoiler) How in the world am I supposed to wait for the next one. And if she does a Court of Thorns & Roses book first, how can I complain?

I always loved the name Tucker, and now I love it even more. He is a man with southern charm and he swept me off my feet. Of course, he is sexy as hell and funny as can be, so I completely understand how Sabrina was swept off her feet too, and the attraction between them was mutual and I loved it. It took me a little time to feel like I understood Sabrina so I didn't like her instantly the way I did Tucker, but eventually I liked her a lot as well. I have nothing bad to say about this series nor this one that took me by surprise in many ways.

I’ve had this one in Audible for too long. Lately trying to get away from erotic type books, I’ve put this one on the back burner. So! I was pleasantly surprised when listening to this one. I loved it!!! The narrator was just as spunky and snarky as I would have hoped for.
The story itself was a nice twist on the vampire type story. And I feel the need to continue with this story to see how they’re lives evolve.

Fixed, sorry about that 😔

Review: I quite enjoyed this one. I am a fan of the "girl is special but has no clue about the supernatural world" trope. I'm not really of a fan of the lack of real healing, mentally, but, heh, it's cool if you suddenly discover a shifter animal within and all your mental and emotional abuse is suddenly overcome. So maybe I had more problems with this one than I thought. :)

What the heck? Do I live under a rock? How have I never heard of this author before? Obviously I must have because I already owned this book and the audiobook. So , I have to ask WHY I haven't read it!
This book was so good ! It is a story of a family told from different perspectives from the life of Maisie up until her son Harry is an young man during the war. I loved how you got to hear the story from each character, and how many times you didn't know what the true story was until each character shared their part.
I am super interested in reading more by Mr. Archer and will be on the lookout at my library.
This is why I love this challenge! I would not have picked this book up otherwise :D

I have loved Jeffrey Archer since I was much too young to read his books, my dad was a fan, so they were always lying around the house. I'm so glad you enjoyed his book. If you want to get into the oldies,

Review:
I thought this book was really good for a debut novel. It did have some issues, such as figuring out the ending too easily, but overall I thought it was deserving of 5 stars.
Holly Kendrick and her daughter, Savannah, have suffered quite a loss and essentially in order to take care of medical bills and beyond they decided to sell their souls to the devil (so to speak) as they didn't have any money to take care of the hospital care and to live on. The setting is California, so the things that happened aren't too far fetched and just as in any situation, secrets do have a way of finding themselves being somehow discovered at which time all hell can break loose. Most of us would go to extremes to cover for our loved ones, but just how far one would go depends on that person's character and circumstances and some would go to any lengths to have money.

Review: This was sooooo good. The Others/The World of the Others continues to be my favorite series ever. I seriously re-read it yearly. The Lake Silence cast of characters returns, with a few new additions. There are some stupid, foolish humans, some good and some bad Intuits, and this time there is something hinky going on with the Terra Indigene themselves. It was nice to see Bishop acknowledging that not every member of a particular species will be above reproach.
