However I do have book to review!

Another great story from Jennifer Estep! I really don't know why it took me so long to start this series as I love her Elemental Assassin series. Although the bad guy in this was a little obvious, I didn't pick the connection and Gwen discovers some new and twists and turns about herself which set up the next book nicely

I hadn't read the first book in this series, but it was easy enough to catch up. This was much like other Katie MacAlister books I've read: extremely lighthearted and funny, but kind of weak when it comes to the overall plot. Still, the humor definitely kept me interested and entertained for the whole of the book,so that's saying something!

I always have a hard time reviewing books in this series because I'm inevitably left speechless by just how good they are. This one was no different. It starts off with a bang and never lets up on the momentum until you turn the final page. I honestly have no complaints at all. With how it ended, I'm very curious to see where the series goes from here. It should be a fun ride!

It was just awesome! I had to stay up late to finish it so I was super tired the next morning, but it was so worth it! :)

Demons book will (tentatively) be:

Thanks for letting us know, Belinda! :)

10 and 11 hour shifts do not sound like fun! My husband has been working 10 hour shifts since November, and I can see how draining it is!

I was a bit disappointed in this book. I'd heard it was amazing, but it fell flat with me. I think I just did not care for the author's style of writing. Maybe too much thinking and description and not enough action? I was left confused at times; possibly I was reading too fast, but also I had to reread sentences constantly, because the author would start a sentence, then halfway through it would go off on a tangent, before returning to the original sentence and the tangent was so long that I'd forgotten the first part. I have too short an attention span for this nonsense. LOL. I noticed this less as the book went on, so I either got used to it or it stopped.
The ending was a non-ending, kinda open ended. If I didn't know better, I'd say there was a sequel. But there's not, to the best of my knowledge. And even if there was, I likely wouldn't read it.

Haha! I've done reading on my iPad and dropped it on my face when dozing off. Those things are heavy so it would of course hurt my nose. LOL
I am going to have to order Night Broken from Amazon. I thought I had bought it recently but I think that I'm thinking of the previous Mercy Thompson book. So I'll get started on No Mercy next.

Great review Steph Ann. 2 thumbs up!
I'm almost finished with my demons book. Less than 20 pages to go I'd say. I'm having to order my favorites book. So it'll be a week or two with that.

It's almost sad to have finished the vampire academy series/spinoffs. It has been a great world to get list in and the characters all blend and evolve so nicely. Lots happrned in this book and maybe there is room for another spinoff series down the track....I enjoyed this and frequently read til after midnight. The ending felt a little rushed but the author did s good job of resolving all the issues that had arisen through out the series.

I'll be finally getting around to

In a funny coincidence, I'm going with

This series is slowly getting better for me. I love the world Galenorn has built and often find myself caught up in the action. The story falls flat when it comes to the romance aspect though. I am just not warming up to Grieve at all and find myself wanting to skim through romance scenes, which is not good. All in all though, I enjoyed this much more than the first two books and am actually looking forward to reading the next one!

The Dark Hunter books are usually either hit or miss with me, and luckily this one leaned more towards the hit side. It took me awhile to warm up to the main characters and it also kinda had a slow start.
I've mentioned it in other reviews of books in this series, but Kenyon's mythology is getting too complicated. I have a lot of trouble keeping it all straight. IMO, as much as I love me some Dark Hunters, it's time to put this series to rest (I say this knowing there's already several more books out there).

I finished my Green/Teal book last night and will post my review over my lunch hour today!

I wasn't sure what I was going to think of Savannah as a narrator, but I was very pleasantly surprised. This book was very action packed, and there was never really a lull. With only two books left in the series, I'm very interested to see what happens next!

Paranormal Romance
This will give us three in a row once we have stamps for Favorite, PNR, and Green/Teal.

I'm getting through my green book (Jane Bites Back). Amazon has still not shipped Night Broken for the favorites shelf and I'm getting annoyed. If it's not here by the time I finish my green book I'll pick something else. Luckily if it does get here I usually read the Mercy Thompson books in about a day.

I still have about 100 pages of my green cover but I left that at home. Sorry to hear you've been unwell Sherri
