SOLVED. Middle Grade Fantasy book about monsters from under the bed kidnapping all the adults in a town. Read around 2019-2020. [s]

Read around 2019/2020, maybe late 2018, in a B&N (though I didn't finish it). The book was about an 11-year-old girl who woke up and all the adults were missing in her town. Naturally all the kids started running around and getting up to mischief; i believe several groups/gangs of kids formed, but it wasn't to the same darkness level as Lord of the Flies or Gone. MC girl met 2 other main characters and they decided to solve the mystery. Eventually they found out that all the adults were kidnapped by these blue goblin/gremlin things from another world located under their beds.
Title was something along the lines of "It came from under the bed" or "don't look under the bed"; i think there might have been a reference to the monsters as well in the title (something like "creepers"). It was also illustrated; the art style kind of reminded me of Midnight at the Barclay Hotel, but i found that illustrator's webpage and nothing really rings a bell.

I realize this is more information than you usually get on this forum lol, but my memory is very selective in the worst way possible. If you have any leads let me know!
