I'm waiting on one of my Mardi Gras Team to complete their books on the spreadsheet then we can get the next clue. That will tell me if I can read Damaged (Necessary Evils, #3.5 cause I want the double time. paycheck! Also I need to Check the page count as it's a short story & only 115 pages. Or I may do Scandal And The Duchess. OH! I ALSO HAVE The Wolf. I have tons of 5's.

I vote for Scandal and the Duchess. I love that series!

Damn it kills me when we are missing Completion Post & it's getting down to the wire.
Me too! It's such a good series! I love that family! Especially Ian!

I can't even explain how screwed up these guys are when comparing them to "normal" but they're so awesome! This one is about August, the nerdy professor brother, and Lucas, a former FBI profiler who can also read minds. Another investigation into the worst of humanity with some twisted romance to make it all complete. I love how these guys express their "love" with extreme possessiveness. It's crazy but super hot. The smexing was again creepy but super hot. Loving this series!!

I’m in love with this world! I liked the new characters, finding more about Silas, and seeing the care between Silas and Darien.

So Good right!

You take your time girl. We can always use our free pass. Just knowing what you are going thru, you don't give this a second thought.

We wish her & her family condolences and thoughts and prayers.

I might switch books to something more "comfort read" for this round.

Hugs! I know how distraction can help.
I nursed my mother through her last 5 and a half months. Goodreads kept me sane. Hugs to you, Michelle.

Week #6
Spot: #52
Book: Make Me, Sir 3.5* ✔️ 3/1
Pages: 388 pages
Fits: Masters of the Shadowlands #5
Bonus: No
Review: So, I've read a few of #5's this week. I'm using this one because it's the last #5 I read and is the most fresh for review. This is part of the Masters of Shadowlands series. Each book in series a complete HEA For a different couple. This one is Marcus the prosecuting attorney's book. His h is Gabi who goes undercover in Shadowlands to save her BFF Kim who has been kidnapped by Human Traffickers. Like to the relationship between Marcus and Gabi. I really liked Marcus. The overall mystery of the bad guys did not get wrapped up in this book and is continuing on which I liked. I'm a sucker for a cliffhanger. But if you're going to give me a cliffhanger give me a damn good one.

This one wasn't even a cliffhanger. It should have ended with an epilogue Or at least a paragraph from the next book to get the blood revving at the end. Also the overall book did not have a lot of steam as far as the plot. Being a nut of a brat like myself, I did like the antics of the Brats & the creativity of the Master's in their punishments.

Charley, Charley, Charley. You carry a lot on your shoulders, being the Grim Reaper. But I have to be honest, girl. You and Reyes are a recipe for disaster. You know this. I know this. He knows this. But you just can't quit him. Your decision quality is suspect, but you know I will be back for more fun in book 3.

Since we haven't heard from Ketutar @ all I'm gonna send her a pm.

Slow. So slow that I haven't even started it. Monday and Tuesday I drove from Texas to Utah. And helping my daughters move into their new apartment has taken a lot of time.
So I'm going to use my SSS book. And I've fixed the mistake in Message 208.

Completion Post - Week 6
Spot: #52
Book: Let's Talk of Murder
Author: Joan Smith
Pages: 150 (Amazon says it's 305 pages)
Rating: ***
How it fits: it is the 5th book in the series
Review: Lord Byron had a major role in this episode! I wonder how much of his character was true to life. Two of the Berkeley Brigade figured more in the mystery solving. The two love interests got into a jealousy fit though. I wonder how much longer the author will draw out their engagement :(

I almost signed up for SSS, but I always chicken out because I'm worried that I might not be able to keep up. Do you ever listen to audiobooks? I've gotten me some audiobooks from the library and started doing audible So that I can listen to those on my drive to go see the grandbabies every month. They are only 3 hours away, but once a month I drive up there spend a week and then drive back. It's really made those driving hours not so monotonous.

Sorry ! I try to send a Thursday reminder but lost track of time.

I don't listen to audio very often. And if I do, I tend to listen to ones that I'm already familiar with. So if my attention wanders, I'm not lost when I refocus myself.
I wish my grandkids were only 3 hours away. I live in Arizona and grandkids live in Texas and Virginia. Way too far away :(

I usually only listen on a long drive. My son-in-law almost exclusively listens to audio books. Makes it easy to always find a gift for him!

Yes. Only 1 free pass & No I haven't heard from her at all. No answer to my PM either. We've also had to nudge her each week to get her to post so we can roll. The thing is she has a book that has been completed on 26th that would apply. If she would have completed the post then we could have rolled on midnight.

I was finished with my book already on Monday, and just noted in my head it done, and I totally forgot I need to actually report it too!
I'm so sorry! :´(

How it fits: (Her Royal Spyness #2)
I just find the idea of a lady not knowing that they should ask for the allowance from the secretary, and not discuss the matter with the Queen rather stupid... and that of course they should be compensated for the visit. And that she doesn't have a maid... *sigh*
I like the idea of her cleaning - or opening up service :-D
I knew the twist pretty early on, though.
What ever happened with the body in the library?
