Hello everyone, I'm looking for this book I've read in 2005/2006 (language: italian).
It's a dystopian novel about these kids (can't remember the age, something between 10 and 18, sorry) escaping from a sort of an orphanage in an oppressive world. I think they were two siblings (a boy and a girl).
In this world there is no agriculture anymore.
Somewhere in the book these kids are chased from a gang of bikers that love to peel off people. They are helped by a priest that is burned alive in his own house/church.
I remember that in the ending they enter a place where some rebeles are trying to farm again.
Thank you!

What it originally published in Italian, or some other language?
Author's gender?
Cover?

Rainbowheart | 28682 comments Did it seem like it took place in Italy? I know it might be hard to tell.

I can't read Italian, but do any of these results look familiar?

I thinks is for teens, cause our middle school teacher recommended us, but it was pretty macabre!

Eloise | 52 comments The description reminds me vaguely of The Supernaturalist by Eoin Colfer. I seem to remember that getting pretty dark.
Looks like the Italian edition is I predatori blu -2004 pub date so it's the right timescale
