Book: The Way To Confess by Kimpa πππ

βββ-ββββ
3-4 stars due to the confusion in translations in chapters 5-8.
However, a wonderfully erotic love story that is filled with truisms of the celebrity world.

ββββ-βββββ
4-5 stars due to my annoyance that the first sex scene did not have a full description compared to others in the story.
Lovely cover -I even checked out the model.
Great book -full of storyline details. The ending scenes did get a little confusing but it was also supposed to be confusing for the characters, so it was a valid description.

Book: Sabre by Don McGregor & Paul Gulacy ππ’π

ββββ-βββββ
4-5 stars due to all the clichΓ©s in the story.
I read this book for class. It is a great piece of apocalyptic literature and 1970s independent comic literature.
Cover - did all whole write up just on the cover; it's a beautiful 1988 remake by Paul Gulacy.
Book - amazing! The Walt Disney aspects really sinks in the ironic twists of fate about normalcy and commercialism.
The background history surrounding the book's release, and its continued independence from a small publisher from the very beginning, mirrors the type of work the creators were teasing in the story of Sabre. Fascinating---how it all lines up.
