I am looking forward to this year's gambling game!

I am starting with The Handmaid's Tale by Margaret Atwood. A book I know next to nothing about except that I am somehow scared of it.

I feel so tremendously brought down in spirit by this book I feel I should earn more points somehow for this year’s challenge.

I stayed away from this book due to its cultlike reputation, I don’t see it as such though. Somehow it hits much too close to home over 30 years! After publication
