Good to know. I recently bought this one on Audible. I enjoy Marie Benedict's writing.

Teresa Hildebrandt (goodreadscomteresahild) | 4 comments Reading Tomorrow and Tomorrow and Tomorrow. Finding it somewhat challenging due to the nature of the story revolving around video game creating. Otherwise, the characters as mesmerising and realistic.

Kristine | 240 comments I just finished Counterfeit by Kirstin Chen + 🎧, Kirstin Chen which I really enjoyed. Ava Wong always played by the rules and then her old roommate, Winnie comes to visit. She is doing a business making top of the line Counterfeit Handbags and pulls Ava into this, too. It’s a fast and fun read. Here is my 4* review if anyone is interested: https://www.goodreads.com/review/show...

I just started The Lost Girls of Willowbrook by Ellen Marie Wiseman , The Lost Girls of Willowbrook by Ellen Marie Wiseman. This is due to publish on 8/30. Sage Winters has just found out her identical twin sister, Rosemary has been staying there for years. She is missing. So, Sage goes to see what she can do, and no one believes she is not Rosemary. They think she is delusional and now she can’t leave. So far, this is quite an intriguing book.

Cammy | 158 comments Finished The Atlas Six (The Atlas, #1) by Olivie Blake The Atlas Six I thought this book was just okay. It did feel like it was too drawn out at times, and so the story would slow down. ⭐️⭐️

Somebody's Daughter by Ashley C. Ford Somebody's Daughter I’m always awed when people allow me to read about their lives. And at the end of the audiobook there was an author interview which was great to hear. ⭐️⭐️⭐️

The Troop by Nick Cutter The Troop the narrator did a great job. I found it enjoyable to listen to.⭐️⭐️

Alone by Megan E. Freeman Alone a 12 year olds struggle to stay alive when she has been left behind during an evacuation. A fast pace moving story with touching revelations by the character. ⭐️⭐️⭐️

Amber A | 1 comments Recently Finished
The Loop by Jeremy Robert Johnson. It was fun and thrilling and the narrator of the audiobook did a fantastic job. ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Remember Finished an ARC of
Killing Me by Michelle Gagnon. A modern day noir thriller set in Vegas with a queer female lead, serial killers, and a good old fashioned caper. It was laugh out loud funny. ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Recently Finished
Break the Bodies, Haunt the Bones by Micah Dean Hicks. This was a super strange book that used supernatural elements as a metaphor for racism (at least that's what I got). A lot of it was really upsetting and depressing. ⭐⭐⭐

Currently Reading
A Great and Terrible Beauty by Libba Bray. The first in the Gemma Doyle series. So far it's got some Gothic, historical fiction, supernatural witchy vibes and is entertaining enough. This is my second series by Bray and it's hard to live up the the excellent Diviners series and January LaVoy's masterful performance on the audiobook.

Kristine | 240 comments Read Two Seriously Heavy books. Both involved sexual abuse and I would not usually pick two in a row. I just requested them and came in last minute at the same time.

I listened to Uncultured A Memoir by Daniella Mestyanek Young , unCULTured, by Daniella Mestyanek Young. She was in The Children of God Cult and what happened to her and the other children there should never happen. Then she joined the military. This one was intense and I tried to write a thoughtful review, but give the author her voice. I am still shaken by this one. 4 Stars 🌟

Here is my review if anyone is interested: https://www.goodreads.com/review/show...

Next, just read and reviewed Lessons by Ian McEwan , by Ian McEwan. He is an excellent author, but had some deeply troubling abuse for the character, Roland. Ian McEwan really knows how to tell a story and this is about a man’s entire life. The background history of 6 decades in the UK and Germany was fascinating to learn. Recommend this book. 4 Stars 🌟

I'm currently reading The Lincoln Highway The Lincoln Highway by Amor Towles . I'm a little more than half way through and so far it's really good. I am having anxiety for a couple of the main characters and can't wait to see how it turns out.
