Martha DeSabia (marthamary) | 776 comments Anita - The unexpected trip can be the best! I remember several years ago when my husband was still working, he had the opportunity to go to England! I was able to go with him and even though we had only a limited amount of time to see the sights ( he was attending a conference) it turned out to be one of the best trips we ever took!

Before my husband retired, I used to go with him all the time. In fact, the last time we went to Hawaii was a work trip! Now, we get to pay the full bill for our travels. LOL!

I finished an arc of Unmasked: My Life Solving America's Cold Cases by Paul Holes. Unmasked is the career memoir of forensic scientist/criminologist Paul Holes - the man who finally nailed the Golden Gate Killer. This book blew me away...5 Stars all the way. I can't recommend it highly enough. My Review.

4 stars because it was basically a groundbreaking prelude to Quincy M.E. (because of the main protagonist) and ER, one star taken away because his days as a medical student hindered his ability to make the story a little bit better.

ElectricOutcast (electicoutcast) | 644 comments Wear Iron A Judge Dredd novella that didn't even focus on Joseph Dredd but Rico and I just skipped to the end of the book as a result.

I compensated with reading A Killing Truth by D.V. Berkom it's basically a prequel to a new series that I'm starting tomorrow.
