Nice ladies, I know what you mean, Diana, you don't really want to spend to much at second hand, but when you really want something, you want it!

Good for you Sharah, I have read and enjoyed two of these already.
I bought a 2nd hand Kindle Paperwhite last week, only a year old. I haven't had a kindle in years so when i was asked if i would like Kindle Unlimited for 3 months free I said yes please! And I'm reading Holy Island (2015) by L.J. Ross. It's a local book by a local author and very interesting reading about places I know so well.

The Kate Atkinson was a library reservation, not from the charity shops, although there were lots of her other recent books available. Loved your review of 'Shrines' so looking forward to reading it!

I was intrigued by this book in the Oxfam charity shop as my name was on the cover and it had a Phryne Fisher vibe, so looked it up when I got home then went back and bought it for £1.99. When I opened it up to start reading I found out it was a signed edition as well....To Susan. So, when I read it I just need to find someone named Susan to give it too. 😂
I received my final book in quilter Sarah Fielke’s Stitch and Story box subscription.
I received my final book in quilter Sarah Fielke’s Stitch and Story box subscription. The Tilt by Chris Hammer. The book comes with a very nice signed bookplate.
I went to a lovely coffee shop around the corner from Bathurst where there were the most beautiful gifts, food and a book cart - all free books!! I picked up a whole bunch for me and a couple for friends.

I was lucky enough to win Deception Creek in the The Burgeoning Bookshelf's end of year giveaway. Thanks Veronica, it sounds like a great book by an author who's books I'm yet to read.
