The Knighton Women's Compendium by Denise Picton is a sweet and charming read.https://www.goodreads.com/review/show...
I'm sure we've all been guilty of
Keeping Up Appearances
or worrying 'what will the neighbours think'. Aussie author Tricia Stringer gives us a group of older women in a small South Australian town who think they know all the town's secrets. HA! I can see why the author is so popular.
3.5★ My review of Keeping Up Appearances

The Good News Gazette by Jessie Wells is a nice enough feel-good tale that could have done with a better editor. 3.5★shttps://www.goodreads.com/review/show...
Beneath the Waves of the Neversea by indie Australian author K.A. Last
I loved the story, but wish I had known beforehand that it was the first of an intended series, and that the story doesn't end in this volume.

Firekeeper's Daughter is an award-winning contemporary YA thriller set in Michigan, by Ojibwe author Angeline Boulley. 18 year old Daunis Fontaine has her wits, her close-knit family, and the strength she gains from her Annishinaabe culture, but she soon finds herself in over her head investigating a series of meth related deaths in her community. ⭐⭐⭐⭐ here is my review
Apparently And Then There's Margaret: A Laugh Out Loud Contemporary Dramedy by Carolyn Clarke won several awards: the judges were clearly reading a different book to the one I read. 2.5★shttps://www.goodreads.com/review/show...
I hesitate to call Bellevue, a novel set in my last year of high school, historical fiction, but that was fifty years ago (gasp!) so I can only say that Alison Booth’s latest is excellent Australian historical fiction. 5★shttps://www.goodreads.com/review/show...
Christmas at Coorah Creek is a rural Australian Christmas romance novella by Janet Gover, a short but sweet story. ⭐⭐⭐⭐ here is my review
