I picked up this very short book (more a novella or long story) at a sale. I love stories of time travel and alternate worlds. The author wrote for movies and TV and is known to Star Trek fans as the writer of "The Trouble with Tribbles", where the spaceship is overcome by adorable balls of fur. This book is from the early '70's and it shows - very much sex, drugs, and rock and roll. A fun look at possibilities that stem from choices we make. Oddly I read this the same month as Recursion and The Midnight Library. Each has a very different tone but none were hugely successful in my view.
