You can cite chapter or other marker, such as "part two, 25 minutes in". BUT ... I usually look up the paperback or hardcover on Amazon and use the "look inside" feature to get the page number for the quote.
Thanks, I thought Amazon only let you see the first couple of chapters of a book that way.I was surprised to find "eucalyptus" last night! I think the hard ones to find would be the more ordinary words.
