Anne | 307 comments I am reading Let the Circle be Unbroken. It has a man's boot on. The boot is from the 1930s and this book is set in 1935 in the American Derp South so quite apt gor the symbol of hard work. Sorry, no recommendations on my bookcase.

Pam (bluegrasspam) | 3847 comments I came across a book today that I’ve been looking for and it has a completely different cover than I expected. The book is the dual language edition of Aura by Carlos Fuentes. Since it has a cat on the cover, I’m using it for this prompt. That worked out perfectly and was completely unplanned!
