I think most of us had a time when we wanted VERY SPECIFIC book recommendations but didn't know where to look. Next time if you have want to ask for specific book recommendations like "Haunted house with enemies to lovers romance" you can ask them here

If you want to GIVE recommendations for different genres, there are other threads in the same folder

Does anyone know of a book which is Angst + humor with a mc who has a sarcastic humor and does epic observation comedy.
Also, the mc is usually quiet but in their mind they are very witty and observational ?

It doesn't fit the description perfectly but Stevie Bell from Truly Devious is a truly crime enthusiast girl with anxiety.
She's an introvert but she's very smart and LOVES crime solving
Idk about HER but the writing is very funny
It doesn't have a lot of angst aside from the romantic sub plot that happens which I LOVEEED but you might not

Truly Devious (Truly Devious, #1) by Maureen Johnson

I need a rec with something along the lines of girl joining a gang and falling in love with the leader. I watched *My Name* on Netflix and I NEED A BOOK LIKE THAT
I want a badass female protagonist with burning rage, doesn't necessarily have to be enemies to lovers I'm fine with friends to lovers or anything really
And of course A LOT OF MORALLY GREYENESS
I feel like Six of Crows somewhat fits this but I've read it

Can someone recommend me a sad novel…but not the bad kind of sad novel which would ruin my mood and make me feel heavy. The good kind of sadness which would make me feel sentimental and good.

Basically I don’t want to feel excessively angry and upset when I finish the novel but I do want to feel the ✨ Angst ✨

I would also appreciate is the novel have good amount of Angst + humor.

Does this even makes sense ?? I really don’t know how to exactly describe it

I don’t know exactly a book like that
BUT can we reverse it a bit ??
The girl is a strong member of a ‘tribe’ (leader’s daughter ?? I don’t remember !!) and the guy is the weak one who falls in love with her ??

And the female protagonist is strong with burning passion….nah, she’s a cold one but she’s strong !

Moral greyness ??
Not really 😅

The book is Let the Sky Fall (Sky Fall, #1) by Shannon Messenger btw, and i won’t really recommend it. It’s meh but it’s closest I can think of

Also, I highly recommend Because You Love to Hate Me 13 Tales of Villainy by Amerie
It has moral greyness…in some tales.

I haven't read it but I think that The Atlas Six is like that.....I've heard that ALL the characters are morally grey

I LOVE The Atlas Six
definitely one of my favourite books of all time
it doesn't have a gang though. it's basically about the most talented people in the world being invited to a secret society (which protects the contents of the Alexandrian Library, i.e. in the case if it hadn't burned down) and their time there. it's dark academia and not very plot based so don't expect that, but the characters and dialogues are *CHEFSKISS*

And I don’t have any…
I love Coraline though.

Hmm…the closest thing I know is A Monster Calls
It’s not the same thing though.
It does have that mystery but that’s…it.

B | 251 comments anyone has any recs of enemies to allies or enemies to friends? NOT enemies to lovers. i read This Savage Song with this and i'm looking for more!

also any recs for books set in india, with indian characters, thats not historical fiction. something in current times.

T ✩ Handmaiden Of Amidala (tarria) | 26 comments Enemies to friends... the only one I can think of off the top of my head is Furthermore by Taherah Mafi. It's a middle grade book, though it gets quite dark and the sequel is probably YA
