Quick question: Does dystopian count as a sci-fi genre? Since Apocalyptic and post apocalyptic does, I was thinking it did. Just wanted to clarify.

So I saw the date 2/18 at the bottom right hand side of my screen and thought that it was the time (2:18). I thought to myself - "this day has gone sooo slow! Probably because it's shelf day."

I realized my error a few minutes later because I went to check the time and saw it was STILL 2:18. You can't imagine how happy I was when I saw it was 4pm!! Just one hour to go!

After you post a rating and review of your book choice in your team thread, take a moment to add it to the group bookshelves if it's not already on them. This will help grow the pool of possibilities for future rounds of BSB.

Would you accept this for the leather & lace, I might not need it but I'm slim on selections for that one.

Thanks for the suggestion, Daffodil. Member additions are welcome! We add to the bookshelf periodically, but GR doesn't make it easy for bulk adds. Really hoping TPTB improve the group bookshelving capabilities at some point.

Friendly moderator request: When adding books to the shelf, please select 'read' (even if you haven't) and leave read dates blank. I use 'to-be-read' and 'currently-reading' as well as read dates as a way to sort through our BOM reads. Thanks!

On that note, books with either leather OR lace (only one req'd) on the cover have been add to the cover-leather-lace shelf, for anyone who's looking for suggestions. (Those are not req'd, suggestions only.)

Mary, I can't really tell, but it could be lacy cuffs. If you don't have any others with leather or lace, we'll accept it.

Steph - For more suggestions with Leather & Lace, all the covers in the October Daye series have her wearing a leather jacket (she stole the jacket from Thybalt in the first book and always wears it!) so I can add them to the L&L shelf?

Just as a reminder - It's leather OR lace. So, any cover with a character in a leather jacket, leather pants, etc OR anything lacy - such as Mary's book ? above or lingerie, etc.

I thought leather would be easy but it seems most of my on hand urban fantasy, vamps, shifters etc.., are wearing jeans or their were-form.

It also depends on when the shelf gets called. By then I might be further along in a series that brings up to a book where there's obvious leather or lace on the cover.
