Funny, but it's abs of steel that worried me. Luckily, I found an Ilona Andrews book that I hadn't read, cause the cover turned me off :) But all the reviews were great so I'm glad I waited.

Yep anything leather - boots, bustier, jacket, dress ... I've been adding more today.
Thanks DG!

Thanks, Lauren!
Raquel wrote: "leather belts count right thats what i keep seeing on covers that i have"Yep, if its leather it counts :)
Thank you everyone for adding to our shelves, however, some books were already there. Please check before adding the book again. You can always add shelves to existing books, that's real easy.
I'll have to check that out. I didn't think about belts. I saw a couple when going through my books with noticeable belts. Now I just have to remember which those were.
I added a bunch of more books to the L&L shelf. I started checking the books I've read and I found a lot there. :)Something to keep in mind for whomever adds more books to the shelf, is that if you find that the cover for one book in the series has a particular element (leather jacket, high heel boots, gloves, etc.) sometimes that will carry through the other covers in the series. For instance, I realized that pretty much all of the Mercy Thompson covers have her wearing a thick leather belt so I added all of those to the L&L shelf.
I added a couple yesterday that were already on the shelf. I added an alternative cover, one that had some leather on it.
Steph wrote: "I added a couple yesterday that were already on the shelf. I added an alternative cover, one that had some leather on it."I wasn't sure if that was allowed so I either edited books already on the shelf to add them to the L&L cover or just added the new ones.
Your way is best, DG. I was frustrated and lazy, so I added a dupe in a couple cases. When my OCDemoness screeched, I made sure to either edit existing books or delete the one without leather on it.

would count for Leather or Lace and Abs of Steel"Thanks Cristina! I've had this for too long, and onky had one abs of steel on my list. Now it's 2.
I'd have to say no, cause as far as I know they equally write the stories. There are 87 books listed under male author on the bookshelves if you are struggling to find one :)

I have a few set aside for that shelf, I was just curious
I read so much fantasy and mystery/thrillers that the male author shelf won't be a problem for me. :)
Me too!! This is what happens when I am not in the OR. I work a little then refresh this page. I see a patient and I refresh.
I actually forgot it was shelf day yesterday until I went to bed. I resisted the urge to get up and look.
