Catsalive | 182 comments I didn't forget & I have managed to get a a book read that I found pretty tough going because it's SF & 400 pages of small writing. It's been a nice, sunshiney day so when I started nodding off I took that small print outside & manage to crack it. Not a bad read in the end.

Alien Earth by Megan Lindholm Alien Earth by Megan Lindholm 27/10 4★

Catsalive | 182 comments Also managed to get a big chunk of this completed
Homecoming by Isabel Ashdown Homecoming by Isabel Ashdown 28/10 3★

About 550 pages for the day, over about 10-12 hours that I had available.

Lamilla | 818 comments Very impressive, Cat! See you in 2025!

message 69: by Catsalive (new)

Catsalive | 182 comments I've just seen some notifications 😂

The readathon doesn't start until 10pm tonight for me so I won't be getting much done on the 26th. I'll do my best to find some solid reading time tomorrow 😊

HEY HEY HEY!!! Another one of my favorite GR Friends!!!

I'm glad to see you!!!!

IKR....I decided last minute to join in on this one. Seems like every time I plan on participating SOMETHING happens.

So I didn't tell anyone I was busy for the weekend so hopefully nothing happens🤞

Good luck and happy reading to you! Knowing you, I have faith that you'll get something read🥰

Erin *Proud Book Hoarder* (erinpaperbackstash) | 1435 comments Happy Start of the Read-a-thon

Where you at?

You're usually up and posting around GR by now!

Got your nose stuck in a book or your ummmmmm never mind..🤣 I might get in trouble if say that....but it has to do with glass jars!

I'm over here snickering and can't type---LOL

I hope you're having a great day! Get lots of reading done! Have fun and enjoy!

message 77: by Catsalive (new)

Catsalive | 182 comments Ha! I went to bed at 9.30 last night because I felt so rough - that's half an hour before this kicked off. I'll get some reading done today.

That's your punishment, stick your nose in that jar & breathe deeply 😊

Erin *Proud Book Hoarder* (erinpaperbackstash) | 1435 comments Did you at least get 8 hours? Sadly I did not get even close - BUT I have held up well today so can't complain

You're not alone Cat. Others are saying something similar--yeah me too. Oh well. I am figuring on Cool Down Week to catch up.

Catsalive | 182 comments I've only just noticed the reverse readathon is this weekend. I noticed some activity here but didn't see an announcement so figured I was imagining things until just now when, by sheer fluke, I saw the banner on the home page had been changed. You don't get a notification from a banner change, so others may have missed it too..

I see I have a 10am Saturday morning start, so I might get some reading done.

Erin *Proud Book Hoarder* (erinpaperbackstash) | 1435 comments Welcome again, Kylie, have fun! I noticed by browsing Goodreads too a few weeks back.

Catsalive | 182 comments I had to retire hurt, well, with a migraine, so I didn't get my 3rd book finished. Still got some good reading done before that.
