First sprint of the readathon- Your readathon, your rules. I recommend sticking to at least 45-50minutes per reading sprint, either starting or ending at a specific time (or both). Yes, audiobooks can count if you decide they do. The point of reading sprints is focused reading time for a short period, usually followed by a snack/coffee break or at least a stretch to rest your eyes and check in on social media. If you missed this one, we'll have another one soon. :)

Poirot is my favorite literary detective and I also love the show. Looks like you're starting from where it all began where he first walked on the stage/page.

Samantha | 6 comments Thank goodness for Audiobooks! Waking up at 5 am makes for blurry eyes but laying in a warm cozy bed listening to a book in the dark is priceless.

I started "Britt-Marie Was Here"....I absolutely love Fredrik Backman's writing so it is a good way to start out my first readathon :)

I second that. I started at 6am and did the same... :-)

I used to start my readathons like that too, pop my first audiobook on, with the lights still off, and listen for the first hour or more with my cats, in my warm blankets. It's a great way to start a readathon. :)

i was a little slow getting my butt out of bed this morning so my hour one sprint was spent listening to my audio book while i did my morning routine, fed the fur kids, etc. Listened the whole 60 minutes. I listen at 1.5X speed so I actually finished 90 minutes of the audio.
