In for this one with The Hollow Places by T. Kingfisher. I have a little hour left on this audio which has been dragging out, but today is a good day to finish it.About to go and grab my first cup of coffee while listening :)
Good morning! I've got a bunch of grading I have to do before I can start reading but my first book will be Lost in the Never Woods
55% read, end of chapter 34. Soon I'll switch to a shorter book that I can finish during the readathon
Angela wrote: "Reading The Haunting of Hill House!"Oh, that one has great ambience for the season. Hope you enjoy!
Vero wrote: "I'm starting off with The Mysterious Affair at Styles!"Poirot is my favorite literary detective and I also love the show. Looks like you're starting from where it all began where he first walked on the stage/page.
I was and still am reading Raising Steam from Terry Pratchett. Started a couple of days ago and haven't finished it yet but probably will in the next hour. :-p
Thank goodness for Audiobooks! Waking up at 5 am makes for blurry eyes but laying in a warm cozy bed listening to a book in the dark is priceless. I started "Britt-Marie Was Here"....I absolutely love Fredrik Backman's writing so it is a good way to start out my first readathon :)

I second that. I started at 6am and did the same... :-)
I used to start my readathons like that too, pop my first audiobook on, with the lights still off, and listen for the first hour or more with my cats, in my warm blankets. It's a great way to start a readathon. :)
Uh, I was sleeping! My four furry felines chose this morning to let me sleep in! So I'll have to make up some time tomorrow... ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
i was a little slow getting my butt out of bed this morning so my hour one sprint was spent listening to my audio book while i did my morning routine, fed the fur kids, etc. Listened the whole 60 minutes. I listen at 1.5X speed so I actually finished 90 minutes of the audio.
