I've been drinking coffee since the start of the readathon. I was hoping to re-enter it later so it can help me stay up. I don't know how healthy my next cycle of snacks will look...pizza is in the oven...lol :-)

Lena | 364 comments Vero wrote: "The Tomi Adeyemi series looks cool! How is it going for you so far?"

I honestly love these books. I'm switching up for a few novellas here and there so I can get my book read number up...but my main focus is Tomi Adeyemi's book! I've save this book as I didn't want the series to end (it's only a 2 book series).

I took a 2 hour nap and enjoyed it. Ate too much and suddenly got tired. I haven't gone back to physical reading still since though but should soon, but it made my mind kind of "sedated"

So I have a time period slotted for sleep although I was trying to push it out possibly? I'm struggling. I have tea and I'm planning another coffee to see if I perk up...lol

Erin *Proud Book Hoarder* (erinpaperbackstash) | 1436 comments I was wide awake and then crashed when physical reading after eating, not sure what happened. I know I couldn't have gone on without a nap though, but it was during that awkward time period where bright day turned to night due to the oncoming time change, so it really threw me off lol

I've heard a lot of folks say after eating heave that's happened. I've been snacking a bit heavier than initial but not too much. I think I shouldn't have take the caffeine break. I'm loading up now.

Lena | 364 comments Mid Event Survey
1. What are you reading right now?

I just finished reading: These Alien Skies (Black Stars #4) by C.T. Rwizi

2. How many books have you read so far?

Cycle of the Werewolf by Stephen King - by Stephen King- eBook on Scribd

Clap Back (Black Stars #5) by Nalo Hopkinson - by Nalo Hopkinson Kindle Unlimited

These Alien Skies (Black Stars #4) by C.T. Rwizi - by C.T. Rwizi Kindle Unlimited

3. What book are you most looking forward to for the second half of the Read-a-thon?

I'm excited to continue - Children of Virtue and Vengeance (Legacy of Orïsha, #2) by Tomi Adeyemi

4. Have you had many interruptions? How did you deal with those?

I'd say my endurance has been my interruption through out the day. I'm fighting it by allowing myself breaks and I've also slotted sleeping into the readathon.

5. What surprises you most about the Read-a-thon, so far?

I almost dropped my entire pizza from the oven! Only a 1/4 of it lost it's toppings. I didn't plan for that...lol

Thanks, Lena. He's been replied to in the Halloween event topic (message 7) already. I know he has his own topic in For the Blogless (two, actually), and has worked out how to post in his own topic, during our readathon last weekend. I'm really not sure why he is still posting on other readers' topics as if he is lost. Hopefully he is starting to figure out how to participate in our events by now, or at least will catch on soon.
