A Natural History of Color: The Science Behind What We See and How We See it by Robert DeSalle didn't fit into an interest niche that I can think of. It's too detailed for the layman & not enough for the professional. I gave it a 3 star review here:https://www.goodreads.com/review/show...
Finished reading The Wisdom of Crowds by Joe Abercrombie and The Vor Game by Lois McMaster Bujold. I am reading A Crown of Swords by Robert Jordan, I plan to read Leviathan Falls by James S.A. Corey, next.
20 minutes till midnight, finished The Midnight Library by Matt Haig, lovely read about life and regrets. Now I need to figure out what to start reading in November

Finished reading Angel Time, it had a Anne Rice feel but it's one of her more Christian themed books so felt it was more about that and redemption and stuff, and less fun than her Vampire Chronicles. Now, there are a bunch of books I didn't manage to finish in time (darn, getting hooked on Halloween baking shows!!! Also getting a flood of library books that were on reserve for weeks but all coming available right at the start of October)
- The collected works of HP Lovecraft, only have about 150 pages out of 1114 left
- Fathomless (halfway)
- Demons anthology (halfway)
And I didn't even get to start
- Ballad of Black Tom
- A collection of Lovecraftian short stories on my Kindle
Anyway, onto the November thread, unpinning this one.
