I ventured outside of MM because I needed this for another challenge, but I always enjoy Georgie. I am particularly fond of this particular historical mystery series.

I should like this series, but I do. There's lots of violence and plenty of dark humor, but it's working for me. I'm already looking forward to the next in the series and am excited that the author set up a possible spin off / extention of the series by introducing Jericho's crew!

I really enjoyed this! I liked that Logan took his time (relatively) with Bailey. It was funny with a touch of danger and action. While you don’t have to read the previous series first, I do recommend it so you know who the side characters are.

Not my favorite book. The characters where just okay and this series is linked to a few others I have not read. Couple of things left open and book ends in slight cliffhanger. Not sure I will continue with series.
Here is your next task!Task 13 - 22. Read 4 books #5 or higher in a series.
For this task the selected books need to be #5 or higher in a numbered series listed on GR. Please include a link to the series page in your completion posts.
There's nothing I was planning to read for anything else that this works for, lol. However, if I step away from mm, I can make something work. It'll be Faithless in Death for me - it's #52 in the series.

This one started off slowly, but really picked up the pace about halfway. I continue to enoy this series, even after all these years.
I have a question for you all. For anyone who has read The House in the Cerulean, is the building on the cover a house? I feel somewhat stupid asking this, but it’s for another time sensitive challenge, so I’d hate to read it and be wrong! Thanks!

I read this book in January and would say it is still the best book I've read this year. Every word of that book made me happy! I look forward to reading it again. 😊
Here is your next task!Task 14 - 88. Read 6 books with a boat, plane, car or motorcycle on the cover, teams decide which.
As a team select which vehicle you are looking for on the covers and then read 6 books with that item on the cover. You can use any edition's cover to qualify for this task. Please include the selected item and the qualifying cover in your completion posts.
Thanks Kat! I’ve had The House in the Cerulean Sea for a while, but had been holding off on reading it. I’ve heard so many good things about it that I’m excited to get started!
Over on the Q&A thread I’ve asked Kat if a bus and/or truck would work for car. If yes, I’ll opt for that so I can use The House in the Cerulean Sea. If not, I can work with whatever.
I’m done my first book and will also read Blind Tiger. It was good the first time and I cant seem to find any thing else that fits. Lol
LOL! I just finished Blind Tiger as my second book. That's three of the four of us, unless you're going to join us KellyJo, to make it four for four.

I didn't realize I'd like this as much as I did. Who knew shifters and gangsters in Chicago in the 1920s would be so appealing? There's a lot more I want to know about the characters and the magic. Now we just have to wait for the next book.....

second time to read this one. interesting characters and slow burn urban fantasy with plenty of action/ adventure.
Ugh... I'm in such a reading slump. I just can't concentrate...Unless some one thinks they can squeeze in another car book before the end of tomorrow, I should have my second book done then.
I have something that I can try to get to later. When I was looking through my books, I found far more boats than cars - who knew?
Er….and maybe I won’t get to that other car book. I started it, and realized I really, really didn’t want to read it again.I try to take another look later. If I hadn’t just read Black Dog Blues, I’d read that.
Don’t worry about it Tru :) I finally got a minute to myself to read and I forgot how much I liked this book. If I don’t get it done tonight, I will tomorrow morning.

I loved this start to a new series!! Sam is average but so sweet even after the abuse of his family. Alistair is prickly for good reason but still mostly kind to Sam. I loved seeing them together. I loved the setting and although this book tackles many different problems and issues, I could feel the love the Gattis had for each other in their little family. I am so looking forward to more in this world.
this was a reread for me and i enjoyed it just as much the second time!
Here is your next task!Task 15 - 105. Each teammate lists two favorite authors. Select books written by the authors on two different teammate's list and read books by those authors. (Two books each per teammate.) No pass for this task.
Each teammate lists two favorite authors. Then each of you selects an author from two different teammate's favorites and read a book written by both authors. The books selected do not need to have been read by the teammate, only written by one of their listed favorite authors. Make sure you select from two different teammate's lists! Please include a link to the teammate selection message in your completion posts.
I could not find where we discussed this one. Did I miss it?I have so many more than two favorites. But for this task I will go with ...
Favorite Authors
Jordan L. Hawk
Charlie Cochet
I don't remember seeing this one before!I suppose we should make a point of all of us selecting different authors to maximize everyone's options.
I have to think about this, lol.
