Sorry I don't tend to check tbh, so I'm not great for recommending authors. Agreed on Jl Merrow and Jay northcote they definitely capture lots of mannerismsI have enjoyed from Jess Whitecroft and Alice Oseman

Jess Whitecroft is really witty; love her writing. Never heard of Alice Oseman though. Shall try out hers soon.

I've finished my first book, but my computer is about to die. I should finish the second fairly early tomorrow - I'll post them both then.
No worries, I might take a little longer with this book as its bit lengthy but at the same time I could love and speed through so see what happens 😂

It's become a comfort read for me.
