It's been a bit since I 've read a Gansett Island book and it was nice to step back on Gansett Island and catch up with all the couples. It was worth reading this book just to read the skinny dipping scene and the guys antics that totally backfired on them!!!

So heres the thing. This female MC I saw a lot of my early teenage years in. I too developed super early and I also had rumours made up about me sleeping with guys I'd never even spoken to! Other schools even had a nickname about me... so I completely see this, I never really realised but yeah it 100% affected my dating and self esteem like Maddie.
Back to the romance and not my emotional trauma. I did like it but it felt very quick. I just don't believe that you can fall in love within a week and considering what she went through would someone like that reaaally fall in love that quick and trust a stranger with her child? I just doubt it personally...

It was actually just the edition of the book you need to fix. You have the second ed posted. Could you change that to the first kindle ed please?

Didn't love this at all.

I couldn't get into the character found her childish and irritating.

The twist was pretty decent but still a little oh right OK.

Interesting concept but not the series for me.

Man, I really hope this isn't the last book in this series! These have it all, romance, mystery, wolf shifters, and a cool secret organization. I love the characters, the fast-paced action, and the incredible romance between the two MCs. They are just so damn sweet together, but with enough snarky humor to keep it from becoming too cloyingly gooey. Excellent 5 star read. 💖

Another great mystery in the series. It was a little unnerving to read about Nelson getting shot. The ending alludes to a future that the reader never thinks will happen. Can't wait for the next book

This story is set in the 1920's after WWI. Thatcher is making his way back to the ranch he worked at after being released from the Army. He lands in Foley Texas after jumping from a freight train and lands right in the situation where a woman is missing. He meets Laurel and helps the sheriff as things get worse in this town. Laurel is a recent widow and the romance moves along slowly for this couple. I really loved this story as this couple works together to figure out one mystery after another.

This was the last book in the series, but unfortunately it didn't go out with the bang I was hoping for. I never really felt connected to the MCs at all, and they just didn't seem to fit together. I honestly couldn't understand the attraction between them. It was nice to see the characters from the last book make an appearance, but it didn't really help with the storyline. It was just kind of blah, predictable and almost cookie-cutter. There wasn't anything new or exciting to this story, which was a bummer. I do like these authors though and I'll look forward to trying anything else they co-write together.

Wow! This book was non-stop action. Bones, the son of the awful character in Buttons & Lace, is a hit man. Vanessa is walking home and sees him killing someone in a dark alley. He kidnaps her and this story takes off from there. I thought the previous books were really good in this series but this one was fantastic. Of course, it ends in a cliffhanger so I'll have to read the next one asap.
