I just finished Upgrade. I had mixed feelings about it, but still found it pretty entertaining.Still on a sci-fi kick, so I'm starting The Long Way to a Small, Angry Planet.
Currently reading The Blade Itself, its a little different for me. It's touted as being a funny, albeit dark read. I've laughed a few times.
My July: mainly audio. Not many fans but mostly good.
The Poison Song ★★★★★
The Frozen Crown ★★☆☆☆
The Seventh Queen ★★★☆☆
Daughter of Redwinter ★★★★☆
A Room with a View ★★★☆☆
The High House ★★★☆☆
A Mirror Mended ★★★★☆
The Shelterlings ★★★☆☆
The Unspoken Name ★★★☆☆

I loved that and book 2.

Recently finished Soulstar. This series was pretty good. I only wish the main POV character didn't change with every book. I did have one favorite character over the rest, but there was a lack of him the last two books. I'd still say the first was probably my favorite of the three.
Just finished The Long Way to a Small, Angry Planet. I really enjoyed it.Now starting The Girl and the Moon.
Ginseng and Borderland: Territorial Boundaries and Political Relations Between Qing China and Choson Korea, 1636-1912 by Seonmin Kim

I finished The Girl and the Moon yesterday. I struggled to finish it tbh. I've now started The Fall of Babel. And this is how my September reading wentThe Long Way to a Small, Angry Planet ★★★★★
King of Scars ★★★★
House of Shadows ★★★★
The Girl and the Moon ★★
Finished Conjure Wife (which was great) and started Cloud Cuckoo Land by Anthony Doerr, something completely different, because it's a selection for a book club I'm in.
I finished House of Secrets. Liked the first book a little more, but this was still entertaining. I'll definitely read more Darcy Coates in the future. Now I'm starting Certain Dark Things. Sounds like such a cool premise.

What is your all-time favorite series then?
Read Witchy Eye not bad... not bad at all. I want to start the second book. Started reading The Defiant Heir I read the first book of the series in 2020. There is a desire to finish the series
I only finished a couple books (technically one is a comic) in October, but both were good. House of Secrets ★★★★
Saga, Volume 10 ★★★★★
I just finished The Fall of Babel. Great series. I'd probably rank it up there with my favorite fantasy series.
I went back to Katherine Kurtz' original Deryni trilogy -- read Deryni Checkmate and started High Deryni.
I finished Certain Dark Things. It was OK.Now in a classic fantasy mood, so I started Arrow's Flight. I read the first book ages ago, but found a quick summary of the previous book that was helpful.
