The Mandela effect is a phenomenon in which a person or a group of people have false or distorted memories. Some believe that the Mandela effect is proof of alternate realities,

And you were 4 and remember that ???
I can’t remember anything before 9

But this could be true….
Monkeys are super fast and could have disappeared before anyone saw it.

I have this memory of my older sisters finding two kittens and taking care of them for a while but my grandmother hated small animals.
So they had to drop them in the fields in back of our paternal house.

I remember it clearly, but my sisters swear it never happened 😳

There’s also a lot of stories about people experiencing Mandela effects like this.
Like someone remember dying, the pain and everything.
but then it’s like nothing happened.

There was also one where a woman always saw her dad drinking with the white cup…his personal cup.
And one day, he started drinking with black cup…

The woman questioned him about it and he said “ I have always drank with the black cup ?”
Her family also said the same.

Mandela effects got it’s name when Americans heard about Nelson Mandela’s death and were confused.
Because they thought he died in the prison YEARS ago.

I LOVE THE MANDELA EFFECT THEORY! It even happens online.

Like the whole thing a few years ago when whole nations were arguing about the colour of a dress in the pictures. Grey/Blue. I think it turned out to be a whole different colour by the end.
Also book, song, movie and game titles suddenly changing one day.

I also remember when my grandmother used to drink ONLY red wine. Then one day it was only white wine, so I asked her about it like "Oh, did you get fed up of the red wine?" and she looked at me like I was stupid and was like "I've never liked red wine, I have only drank white for the past 10+ years". x.x Messed me up a little bit.

Also, hello - I'm on a stalking spree whilst running form my responsibilities.

Hey vita !
Thanks for saying hi to me, I love all my stalkers 😍.

Also, yes. I’m so fascinated by Mandela effect theory. Like it’s so intriguing
What do you think about the story of kittens I mentioned ?

Also, about your grandmother…
I’ll be creeped if my mother was suddenly tea. And I was like “don’t you use to drink coffee ?”
If she ever claims to not drink coffee.

I would be so scared 😱

Yes! The kitten story is scary and actually reminded me of something.

So, since I can possibly remember this;
I was young (maybe 5-8) and mum took me to this strange side of town back in our home country to visit a long time friend. They had a husky and I remember it used to lay with its head on its water bowl to try cool down cause it was a hot day. I remember playing with it and then I remember finding a bunch of kittens in a box on the other side of this communal garden and petting them. I was approached by a gypsy lady who said they were her kittens and if I wanted one - I said I needed to ask my mum and then the woman introduced me to hear mute daughter. Her and I played with the kittens for a while before mum said it was time to head home.

I remember this SOOOO vividly. And over the years I have asked and re-asked my mum about it and she has absolutely no memory of this. x.x She doesn't even remember having any friends with huskies in our country. - not even my grandma/grandad know anything about this.

And it actually creeps me the hell out to think a whole day in my memory may not even be real x.x

Hehe…Mandela effect.
Or maybe something else idk.

I remember something similar but I have to say though that It is unreliable because it happened when I was VERY young.
Like younger than 10 years old. And there’s holes in my memory.

So, it happened near my maternal house, I distinctly remember going somewhere with a couple who I remember were NOT my parents. In fact, they weren’t even my relatives, I still don’t know who they were. But I remember they were familiar for some reason, like I trusted them enough to go with them.

They went through an alley, then to fields, then to some relatives house. After that we returned to our maternal house.

Later that day…my parents and my relatives took me somewhere…through the SAME PATH. an alley, fields, and then same house.

I said to my parents “I’ve been here before !”
And they were like “when ? This is the first time we’re taking you”
And I was like “I went with someone today”
They were like “who ?? You were with us the whole time”

And here’s the thing, I suddenly couldn’t remember who !!!
Like, their memory just vanished !!!
And the house people, they didn’t remember meeting me either.

Crazy, I have no idea what happened.

BUT !!! This memory is unreliable, so don’t trust it too much.
It was wierd day though for me.

Dear nook,

Today was as boring as yesterday. To the point there’s no point in this journal writing.
But I wonder I should keep an actual diary.
To keep track of mood and everything and to distract myself…from everything else.
