I have 2 books that has umbrella in them so I'm holding on to them until we can all read for that word :) and they are books I actually want to read so that's an even better bonus ...lol

For places- everything but street and state
For things- jacket, paint, bottle
For colours- red, pink, black, white, gold

Places: City/Building/Store/ Home/ Hospital/
Things: Jacket/ Paint/ Bottle
Colors: Red / pink/ black/ white / gold
I think we should either do City or Hospital and paint and red. Would that work? I am open to other suggestions.
I think Hospital, Paint and Red would be alright for this week

Sound good to me :)
I've decided to switch my book. I'm now going to be reading
, I just wasn't feeling the other one, could be I'm not in the mood for another YA novel right now, and I have been hearing nothing but awesome remarks about this series so I'm gonna give it a go :)
Also it has Friend, Desk, Hospital, Paint and Red so I'm good to start reading!

3/7/15-5♥
Friend~ally and closest friend...p. 9
Hospital~promoted by the hospital society...p. 160
Paint~more bric-a-brac, more paint and...p. 203
Red~disturbed by this red-blooded...p. 17
Desk~older brother sat at his desk...p. 11
This story has a witty undertone to it but it's also an intense love story. The principal characters, predictably, can't stand each other. There's even an insinuation that they are complete opposites, but I beg to differ. They have many similarities even down to their mutual dislike for each other. Lillian, like Marcus, is headstrong, smart, courageous and also speaks her mind. I think it's their similarities that cause them to clash, and boy do they clash. Their ardent animosity toward each other is as passionate and heated as their mutual attraction, which makes for a very entertaining story to read. If you add Lisa Kleypas' lively prose with such passionate characters, you have the makings of a really great read.

Review
This series is one of my favourites and each instalment is eagerly awaited. I've rated the previous book both 5 stars and was hoping this one too would be good. It was. The world is unique, the characters fascinating. Meg and Simon are the main characters and we learn more about each in this one. There are many secondary characters to love too. The tension between The Others and certain humans is building with each book. I can't wait for book 4 next March.

Review:
This was a reasonably enjoyable a new adult novel although nothing overly memorable. I was a bit disappointed how certain conflicts were resolved and felt that with a few things done differently this could have been a lot better book. The basic premise was good and I did like the main characters. Overall it wasn't a waste time of read but I have no doubt in a month's time I will be staring at my kindle screen trying to remember which generic new adult novel this one was.
Words:
Friend- "Connor's friend steps aside to gesture into a decent-size space in desperate need of a cleaning and a non-erotic shower curtain." Page 38
Desk- "I sit back down at my computer desk, and see I've got a reply from Connor." Page 16
Hospital- "(she got admitted to the hospital that night for alcohol poisoning, but nobody really talks about that. It kinda got lost in what came next." Page 16
Red- "It isn't until we're stopped a red light two minutes that Tyler speaks up." Page 45
Paint- "More realistically, he will, and he'll paint over the entire door as soon as I leave." Page 100
I'm half way through my book will most likely be done either tomorrow or Thursday :)
Scavenger Hunt R9 ~ Week 4 ~ Friend & Desk

First off I'll say that I am no stranger to Anne Bishop's work. She has long been a favorite author of mine, her ability to create such unique and creative worlds is what makes her a fantastic writer. She also has this uncanny ability to throw a multitude of characters at you that you can't just love some of them you have to love them all because she makes you feel like each individual is such and intricate part of the story even if you were only introduced to them for one scene or many. Her world building skills are some of the best I have ever read and she makes you feel like you are actually living in each of the worlds she has created.
That being said I don't have any excuse as to why it has taken me this long to read this series other then just being lazy...lol so shame on me :) If you are looking for a unique world reading experience Anne Bishop is the place to start you will not be disappointed!

WOW:Friend Sony Loc. pg 48 Once Simon and his friends crossed the courtyard...

It started off interesting, with our heroine who is a midwife getting kidnapped. Then she is on the run with the hero who may or may not be the bad guy and a baby through the snow. But it kind of tapered off in the middle.

I loved this book, was so nice to be back in this world. Charles and Anna is one of my favourite book couples. They work well together. So many precious moment between them. Even though Charles the man and Brother Wolf are the same person, they are separate too. Love that we see both man and wolf. Charles had an old friend who is dying, so he takes Anna to visit. Once there they realise a fey is kidnapping human children. I enjoyed the mystery. It was also fun learning more about Charles from his younger days.

Yup! Thankfully no words are called that we have already claimed.
We have been lucky so far, fingers crossed that it continues :D

In this #2 book of the series, we find Jude and Lucy at separate colleges, but still working on their relationship. It's a teenage love story with some angst, challenges and doubt of their love of course. They battle many obstacles and have to decide if love is enough for them. I enjoyed the story and was loving me some Jude!! He has an intense love for Lucy, I'm a little jealous :-) Will they be able to make it work or is this it for the couple.....you must read to find out!
I'll be done with my book either tonight or tomorrow depending on how much reading time I can fit in with my work schedule :) I'm currently at 61% so not much more to go!

Visions in Silver is yet another excellent edition to The Others Series by Anne Bishop.I found this book to be a little bit more mellow then the previous two as I think this one is being used to really set up the last two books of the series. There was still plenty of action and tense moments but for me I found this one very draining, emotionally. I cried so many times off and on through out the book that I used half a box of tissues...lol and that is why I love Anne's writing she has the ability to pull you in so completely that you feel like you really understand what her characters are going through. Now I have the long wait until book 4 is released next year. If you haven't read this series yet ... READ IT!
Items Claimed:
WOW:Bottle Sony Loc. pg 78 carrying a bottle of water and two glasses
Bonus:Dinner Sony Loc. pg 272 a Hawk soaring overhead looking for his dinner
Places:Store Sony Loc. pg 473 owners of the jewelry stores that reported the theft
Colors:Yellow Sony Loc. pg 387 a set of colored pencils. Red, green, blue, yellow,
People:Brother Sony Loc. pg 145 Was Meg’s little brother at the bottom of a lake?

I was expecting a more coherent plot in this book; instead it was all over the place with basically 3 adversaries (that either didn't want the leads together or didn't want them to succeed etc) whose issue with the leads were resolved quickly and quietly. It was actually pretty boring overall.
Words:
Bottle- "Sed asked and took a sip from his brown bottle" pg 47
Dinner- "When dinner was ready, the guys crowded around the stove." pg 48
Store- " The store manager paused before their folding table." pg 178
Yellow- "She jerked the long yellow latex gloves from her hands" pg 261
Brother- "I seem to have misplaced my brother's notebook" pg 100
I'm good with that, it's going to be a hard one to find I have 2 books that I know have Umbrella in them but I'm not sure if I want to read them right now but I have a ton of other books to check out so I'm good either way :)

I just finished my final exam for one of my classes so I will probably put the review up tomorrow morning. Only have one more class to go.
