Tracey Allen at Carpe Librum (carpelibrum) | 1224 comments I’ve read Klara and the Sun by Kazuo Ishiguro and Billy Summers by Stephen King with the blue cover.

I listened to a non fiction book Medieval Bodies: Life, Death and Art in the Middle Ages by Jack Hartnell".

Update: I finished reading The Ex-Husband by Karen Hamilton.

Another update: I read Silence by John Biguenet.

A stitch too far, just looked at fear the sky and it has some rather mixed reviews from each end of the spectrum. What did you think of it?

message 10: by AStitchTooFar (new)

AStitchTooFar | 8 comments hi Bonnie, fear the sky was a middle of the road sci-fi for me. Easy read, pretty predictable, very much a male author writing female characters, no real character development. I give it a "meh", if you have time and want an easy read, go for it.

Purple Bookish Frog (Bonnie) (purplebookishfrog) | 664 comments Mod
Meh is better than bad. Thanks. I’ll put it on the “if I have nothing else to read I’ll give it a go” pile x

Nine Lives by Danielle Steel. Just three ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️ I usually enjoy Danielle Steel for really light reading, but this was just ok.

The Adventures of the Wishing-Chair by Enid Blyton

Not feeling so well today so I decided to listened to a nostalgic story from my childhood instead of reading with my eyeballs.

The cradle of all worlds by Jeremy Lachlan

This was a brilliant read. Very original and creative. Loved it as an audiobook.

Thankfully, we ended up not getting what we thought we would where I’m located. We got it bad last year so I’m so glad we were spared for now
