An easy challenge where someone else picks a book for you from your bookshelf and you do the same for someone else. You have to read the chosen book the next month.

So, sign up for this Challenge by posting your TBR shelf or the shelf from which you want to read a book.

Please make your profile public before taking part in this challenge. The pairs will be announced by July 15. Make sure you come back and choose a book for your assigned partner by July 20.

Here are the pairs
2) Jaskirat - 10) Upanshu
3) Aishwarya - 12) Vishruti
4) Shahbaz - 11) Nathan
5) Arpit - 7) Ganesh
6) Kritika - 9) Rupesh
8) Samara - 15) Leena
13) Rishabh - 16) Afia
14) Selva - Em Lost in books

Happy Reading!

Arpit Raj Hey guys!
Assuming that the post "Pick it for me- August 2021" has entirely skipped the moderator's mind, I suggest we decide the pairs among ourselves with mutual agreement?

message 18: by Leena (new)

Leena Aluru (mgleena) | 7181 comments I agree.i was wondering about it. go ahead Arpit and make the pairs please.

As much as I feel welcoming of the task, I still feel everybody should have a say in this.
:)

message 20: by Arpit (new)

Arpit Raj I guess, people can pick a person for themselves. If the latter agrees; no foul done.

message 21: by Leena (new)

Leena Aluru (mgleena) | 7181 comments no, that will be chaos. spinning the wheel or pulling chits is best.

Just putting it out here. Same as in inbox.

I picked 2 books for you:

1. Born to Run: A Hidden Tribe, Superathletes, and the Greatest Race the World Has Never Seen by Christopher McDougall
2. Antifragile: Things That Gain from Disorder by Nassim Nicholas Taleb

Being an avid runner and having a keen interest in philosophy, I would love to hear your review on these books. I plan to read them myself later.

Cheers!

Hey Jaskirat 😊

Your's is a huge TBR list, thus took some time, but here are my suggestions:
- This Is How You Lose the Time War (in my TBR too)
- The Midnight Library (one of the best books I have ever read)
- The Forgotten Few; The Indian Air Force's Contribution in the Second World War
- Midnight's Borders: A People's History of Modern India

The last 2 were based on your TBR, where I saw a lot ofIndian history related books.
You may read any of them. Enjoy 😁
