Let me know how you get on with WR10 Deck and more importantly what the trophies are like haha.
I've just had a look at the WR10 trophy list and it's a nice list. Only a couple stood out to do with co driver coop, being the driver and being the co driver.
Some to do with challenges but hopefully they are straight forward.

Yeah sounds doable mate. I might leave this game for when I get a PS5 as WRC9 was pretty rough around the edges on PS4.
There's a new bit of Dirt 5 DLC which I'm hoping my season pass covers to get my driving fix for now.

Ah nice one Adam. Will probably make a start on that tonight.
They seem to have ramped the difficulty up in the new Dirt 5 DLC 😬
It's definitely the Dark Souls if Dirt 5 DLC ;)
I'm winning most events but only just.
However a couple are a bit of a nightmare. By the time I've made it past the main pack in one event, 1st, 2nd and 3rd are pretty much uncatchable.
The only gymkhana event I've tried has a really high score requirement for 3 stamps. I've only had one attempt but I managed approx 8,500 in an event you need 25,000.
There's going to be a lot of replays to get all the trophies for this DLC I think.

Also gave The Medium a little go. Quite like it so far, though it's a bit rough around the edges. Feels to me like they took inspiration from Remedy & Quantic Dreams type of storytelling with a bit of Silent Hill thrown in. Could have been a bit more polished and not really scary but it's been pretty atmospheric.
Hi all. Still playing Psychonauts 2. Getting close to the end now. It has been an excellent game though. Some of the levels have been really fun, sometimes frustrating, but very very varied - each level feels unique especially in the artwork which is sublime. Story and especially characters are bat shit crazy. Glad I gave the game a chance as it really opens up after the first few hours - some good open maps to explore and great campaign. And I think once I'm done with it that's me done with any new games until BF2042 and Back4Blood and the big autumn/winter release frenzy. I might go back to Quake to fill the time and possibly at a stetch Assassin's Creed Valhalla (albeit at this point the game is all but binned off).
Great to hear there is an Alan Wake remaster coming out soon (rumoured October), and is cross-platform. That is a must buy for me - even though I own the 360 original. One of my favourite games of all time. I might wait for a price drop but deffo getting it at some point.

In all the reviews of WR10 I've seen, they all make mention of the crazy anniversary times.
I can see them patching it. I'll be avoiding it until then at least.

I'm thinking there must be some way around it though. I looked at the stats for the trophy and 1.5% have managed it. Not a big number but considering it's a new game and the difficulty of it, that looks on the big side to me. And there are easier trophies in the game currently with lower %

And another thing - Chile at night - not bad enough you need a second duvet.

Lost a bit of enthusiasm for The Medium too. Want to like it but have never been a fan of insta-fail stealth sections, especially poorly thought out ones. If there are too many more of those, I may bin it off. Still not too disappointed about picking it up, what I've played has been mostly enjoyable and a decent change of pace.
Hi everyone
For some reason im not getting notifications when someone post something on here.
Is this happening to any of you?
Gaming wise im near finishing FC5.
I have my last region pretty much liberated, only 1 or 2 missions left (i think) but i dont know what comes next.
Im enjoying this game so much that i might start New Dawn right after.
I like doing missions and all but i spend most of my time picking a destination, explore on my way there and do whatever crosses my path. Its so satisfying and i cant get enough of it.

I don't have any notification set up on here. I think it would drive me crazy if I did.
No gaming for me as seems to be the norm these days. Got a day off tomorrow to hopefully get some time in whilst the house is empty. Last time I tried this my kid was ill so didn't go to nursery and its starting to look like this will happen again tomorrow :(
I find myself day dreaming about when I used to have quality free time.

Its weird cause i do have notifications turned on.
But i dont receive any anymore. Really weird.
Its a bit rainy today here in Lisbon. I wouldnt mind spending the day playing FC5 while its raining outside.

Just as I was looking forward to autumn and things cooling down, its got really hot where I am in the UK. Hope it doesn't last long.

Picked up Dragon Quest XI again. Turns out this was just the sort of wholesome, low-stress gaming I needed. I had left off just before a major event breaks up your party and you get to play some individual character story lines. Great stuff, although this game is cheesy to the extreme on occasion. Still gorgeous to look at as well. So colorful.
Low stress gaming is what I need right now. I'm thinking of trying another Farming Sim game on PS4. I loved them on the Vita but they seemed more indepth on console but I might just try and get past that initial point of not knowing what I'm doing.

My Ghost of Tsushima PS5 playthrough seems to be keeping my attention at the minute but have to say it's maybe not as enjoyable 2nd time around. Got as far as the 2nd island and not sure if I can be arsed. Could be open world fatigue though. And I might add a few miles to the odometer in Grid while I'm at it.

haha.
I dont know what else to say about Far Cry 5 honestly.
Im loving it but i´ve been doing the same think since i started so i really dont know what i can add about it.
I think i´ll finish it tonight as i have 29.900/30.000 liberation point in the last region.

Last weekend a played a bit of Skyrim VR and while i was playing i took the helmet off for something and when i put it back i had one NCP right next to me and my imediate reaction was "sorry! excuse me...". haha
I love Skyrim in VR. IT feels like a completely diferent game, imo.
The magic system itself turned from ok to amazing. I dont use any weapons which is the first time in any TES game.

Just had a look at that DLC sale and considering the Metro Exodus season pass for £4.19 even though I don't own and have never played the game itself.
It's on the list to play at some point so would be good to have the DLC ready for when I get to it.

Did you get the Borderlands 3 DLC Adam?

After I finish Dragon Quest I think I'll stay away from the graphic video game violence for a bit, or at least keep a side game that's free from it. After we hit October I'll be ready for Evil Within 2 and whatever creepy, gory fun comes my way.

The only Codemasters game I'd issue a warning against if you're only after some casual are the Dirt Rally games. They're notoriously difficult and realistic but the mainline Dirt series is good for just picking up and playing.
If you're on Xbox then Forza Horizon all the way.
If you're on Xbox then Forza Horizon all the way.

Dirt 5 would be my tip.
Talking of which, I've just managed to get all stamps in the latest DLC. A couple of those events were as hard as nails and feel I deserve another plat.

On a different note, can someone tell me why am I tempted by Life is Strange: True Colors? Really wasn't fussed on the first LiS and hardly touched LiS: Before the Storm because I just didn't get it. And is it not a bit weird to have the new game and the remaster released in the same month?

If you're anything like me, you just really want the series to be great for whatever reason. I've never actually been able to make it all the way through one.
Think I will give Dirt 5 a go. Just happens to be on Game Pass as well...go figure.
That's the last trophy on Dirt 5 done now. Back too 100% trophies. I kind of hope there is no more DLC now.
Hope you enjoy it Error. Great its on Gamepass so no risk if its not for you.
@Adam, I know what you mean about BL3. I was disappointed too. Not helped with BL2 being one of my fav games ever and the hype inducing wait between the two. I did find the DLC very good though, better than the main game.
I was going to ask if you did ever play it, could I jump in to your game to do one side mission which has glitched for me. I'm guessing you're not in a rush to play it though so no worries if not.

Set up the download from my office. All 68gb has finished and will be waiting for me when I get home : )

Knocked off the clubs trophy in WRC 10 last night so only the anniversary one left. Had a look online and don't see a lot of people having too many issues with it, so obviously I'm just crap ;) Can't really see them patching it, so it'll be one of those slightly annoying games that are permanently one trophy away from the plat.
On to Act 3 of Ghost of Tsushima, and reckon I'll have that pinged well before the end of the weekend, so will likely have a decision to make about what's next.
Don't feel bad about the WR10 anniversary trophy Deck. As I said, literally every review I read mentioned the times were ridiculous and wildly inconsistent so it's not just you.
Hi Everyone
Cleared the last region in FC 5 last night so now i have to deal with Joseph and i think i´ll finish the game.
I already downloaded New Dawn to start right after as im still in the mood for this type of game.
Plus, playing FC 5 but with a post apocalyptic twist is right up my exploration alley.

It's fine Glass honest :-).
Hi all. Completed Psychonauts 2 over the weekend. In the end really enjoyed this game a lot. Before I played it I was expecting some AA short game but actually it's a quite a long (15-17 hours ish) AAA game and really highly polished. You can see a lot of care and love has gone into the game. Truly excellent artwork, and graphics. Bat sheet crazy story and characters. Very varied game play with varied platforming in varied environments using lots of abilities. Combat is fun enough - probably its weakest element but still not bad and probably only 1/3rd of the game play. If you get the chance to play it I recommend it highly - you do need to get through the first 3-4 hours to get to the more open areas - it is a linear game which has open areas that add a bit of exploration and variety. For me 8.5/10 on the R-score-o-meter.
Next I wasn't going to play anything until Battlefield 2042 but I downloaded The Medium. Second time I've downloaded it having dismissed it without trying and it's only a shortish game I believe.

Morning all
So i finished Far Cry 5.
************FC 5 ENDING SPOILERS**************
First of all i feel like Joseph plain and simple won because my first ending choice was to let him go (thinking that we were outnumbered and there was no point in letting ourselves be killed and we would return later on).
So when the screen got all red in the car and faded to black i pictured Joseph laughing knowing exactly what was going to happen. He won...
Then i loaded a past save and chose to resist and saw the "real" ending which was fine and i didnt have a problem with it despite reading that many players felt the game was pointless. It wasnt pointless because what matters to me is the ride not the final destination and i had an absolute blast in my 40+ hrs of playthrough.
The only thing i didnt like was seeing Joseph turning into an rpg boss by the end. I mean, being a final confrontation i know it has to be a bit more epic but a shotgun is still a shotgun and after spending the entire game killing enemies in a somewhat realistic way, it was a bit surreal shooting Joseph 5 or 6 times with my shotgun only for him to be perfectly fine while being arrested and doing the final scene in the bunker.
Either that final confrontation was all drug induced imagination or it didnt felt right at all.
That being said, the nuclear explosions and the ride to the bunker was top notch.
I really liked the game and i give it a solid 8/10.
I already started New Dawn and so far so good.

Glad you enjoyed it Glass. It is a good game. I’ve not tried New Dawn as it’s the same world I believe with what looks like a pretty mild post apocalyptic skin and a weapon levelling system that looks a bit annoying to me. I’ll be interested in your thoughts though. New Dawn is the only far cry game I haven’t played so far. Got to say the ending of FC5 I hated - the final game play in that final mission was terrible. It was like totally left field and a daft game play ending. Story wise I was ok with it but that final mission- awful. Loved it before that mission.

I hear you.
I thought the ending was a bit confusing tbh.
I went to Joseph´s church with my usual companion and suddenly all of them were my enemies due to being drug induced. Ok...but when did that happen? My companion literally disapeared behind me and reapered being controled by Joseph.
It felt very rushed to say the least.
To me, walking away from Joseph was the best ending despite not being the "good" one. It was criptic and caught me by surprise.
The good ending was a bit all over the place, imo. I didnt need that at all. I only liked the nukes exploding part.

I wasn't a massive fan of FC5. It was OK but found it fairly mediocre. I actually enjoyed New Dawn a lot more so will be interesting to see what you think of that Glass.
One thing I do remember from FC5 is the music when you press the touch pad to look at the map. It was beautiful and I still him it years later.

So far im still trying to understand the mechanics of New Dawn honestly. I felt very strange looking at the health bars on the enemies. I took it all off. I want my far cry experiences to be the most immersive possible.
That´s why i also disable the music. I remember a nice tune in the map but i disabled 5 minutes after and never enabled it again.
