My bets would be on Lore for the story closest to original, since the book is based on her. I haven't read it though.

In Circe, she turns Scylla into a monster, not Medusa. Scylla and Medusa are very similar though.

I finished the first book. It was such a quick read. I absolutely loved it. Especially the second half was really good. Wow this was nothing like the movie. Like in a really really good way :)

I wish I had read this when I was a kid!!! I think I would have enjoyed it waaaay more!! 😭

I agree with you Rida. I would have loved it as a kid. Honestly it was really refreshing. I am used to reading heavy and darker fantasy, which I love no doubt, but it feels great to dive into something so hopeful, honest and innocent. I can imagine how much of joy this would bring into a kid's life.

Exactly! And the writing style was also very middle-grade, with inclusion of monsters and hurdles appearing every second step of the way. So I would have enjoyed it thoroughly as a kid.
