The Song of Achilles and Heartstopper: Volume One. Also, I absolutely love On Earth We're Briefly Gorgeous, which is LGBTQ+ but not really a romance... :)

The Spinster Club series by Holly Bourne, it's YA and the first one especially focuses on mental health and OCD

Also, I started reading Never Let Me Go and I love it so much, I surely recommend it too :)

Well, I'm usually bad at age rating, but what genres does she like? (Or want to read more of?)

Hmm, the book that first comes to my mind is Every Day, I really loved it (I still do). It is YA contemporary. It deals with issues like mental health, sexual orientation and identity, but not a very overwhelming way. I first read it when I was 11, and it played an important role in my personality. But I used to read more "mature" books from quite a young age, so I'm not sure someone can count on me when it comes to age rating. I don't know if she's ready to read it or not, I think you're the best person to judge if she would like something like that, but I wanted to recommend it anyway :)

Yes! (I get to recommend one of my favourite books for this.) In theory, this book is the second in a series of companion novels but you can read it as a standalone, and it is Read with Pride by Lucy Powrie. It has great LGBTQ+ representation and is about book lovers, demisexuality is also briefly touched on and explained in the first book in the companion novel series The Paper & Hearts Society
