Well, this is not exactly a recommendation request, but I just discovered Anxious People and it seems really intresting! I was just wondering if anyone of you has read it so as to tell me their opinion, and if you believe I should read it..

Its got humor, sadness, hope, a great plot, and, like all Fredrik Backman books, its truly about people and thats what makes me love it so much. It has a depth to it that is just so incredible, and it really makes you think and feel and everything and i love it so so much!

- Fable
- Princess Academy

- The Winner's Curse
This might be a bit strange, but does anyone have any recs for a great book? Like, a really great book. I just want to read something and be blown away by how good it is. Doesn't matter the genre. Thanks! :)

Thanks so much!!!
I love Klara and the Sun and On Earth We're Briefly Gorgeous, and I was wondering if you have book recs that remind you any of those 2 books?
this one is kinda basic but i LOVED “they both die at the end” and i’ve heard “heartstopper” is really good
Dou._. wrote: "Any lgbt romance suggestions? "Gay not lesbian""The Song of Achilles and Heartstopper: Volume One. Also, I absolutely love On Earth We're Briefly Gorgeous, which is LGBTQ+ but not really a romance... :)
Dreamer wrote: "Do you have any good mental health book recs?"The Spinster Club series by Holly Bourne, it's YA and the first one especially focuses on mental health and OCD

Wow, it focuses on OCD? I must read it now!
Maher wrote: "Does anyone have any suggestions for science fiction books?"Dune! I just read it and i loved it so much<3
Maher wrote: "Does anyone have any suggestions for science fiction books?"Klara and the Sun, Frankenstein & 1984! I love them all so much!
Does anyone have any recommendations for an eleven year old wanting to start reading books that are a little bit older (for my younger sister)?
Percy Jackson, Shadow and Bone and The Selection are all great series that are a little older but and don’t have anything too risky :)
Eilidh wrote: "Does anyone have any recommendations for an eleven year old wanting to start reading books that are a little bit older (for my younger sister)?"Wonder
The Boy in the Striped Pajamas
Maher wrote: "Does anyone have any suggestions for science fiction books?"Also, I started reading Never Let Me Go and I love it so much, I surely recommend it too :)
Eilidh wrote: "Does anyone have any recommendations for an eleven year old wanting to start reading books that are a little bit older (for my younger sister)?"Well, I'm usually bad at age rating, but what genres does she like? (Or want to read more of?)
She likes contemporary and reading about people's problems, she wants to read my YA contemporary but there are things in most of them she isn't ready to read (more serious topics)
Dealing with Dragons This is book 1 of a 4 part fantasy series. The characters are a bunch of oddballs trying to figure out their places in their world, it is very witty and enjoyable. I read the first one at her age, maybe she'll like it. :)
Eilidh wrote: "She likes contemporary and reading about people's problems, she wants to read my YA contemporary but there are things in most of them she isn't ready to read (more serious topics)"Hmm, the book that first comes to my mind is Every Day, I really loved it (I still do). It is YA contemporary. It deals with issues like mental health, sexual orientation and identity, but not a very overwhelming way. I first read it when I was 11, and it played an important role in my personality. But I used to read more "mature" books from quite a young age, so I'm not sure someone can count on me when it comes to age rating. I don't know if she's ready to read it or not, I think you're the best person to judge if she would like something like that, but I wanted to recommend it anyway :)
Dreamer wrote: "Do you have any book recs with a demisexual character?"Yes! (I get to recommend one of my favourite books for this.) In theory, this book is the second in a series of companion novels but you can read it as a standalone, and it is Read with Pride by Lucy Powrie. It has great LGBTQ+ representation and is about book lovers, demisexuality is also briefly touched on and explained in the first book in the companion novel series The Paper & Hearts Society
